I have said this before but all the side characters in the show drive me nuts. Complaining about Da Beum I mean where do you think he got his selfishness his mom is the epitome of selfish and being a leech children learn from behavior so it's no wonder that he ended up exactly like her. Haven't watched it in several episodes but I thought he was finally making some leeway by having the food truck and earning his own way. But honestly him the mom Sarah her mom the grandma I heavily dislike them all and honestly anytime they are on screen I'll just fast forward lol. Stopped watching after he got amnesia because the plot is so predictable like as soon as I realize he was getting amnesia I was like I bet you that Sarah is going to use that to convince him that they're actually in love and try and get out of the house and that's exactly what ended up happening.
I started watching this because I thought it was about a search and rescue team. The fact that there are supernatural elements took me by surprise because initially from the summaries I read that's not what it was supposed to be about. the back and forth with the storyline to be a bit confusing at first. So I stopped watching it and was waiting for it to fully come out.
Honest question. Can a girl that bad become good? IRL?
But she gave up that right to be his mother when she abandoned him. Not only That but she's being extremely deceitful as well because she could have been up front about the fact that he was her son and let young Guk and his wife decide how much they're going to tell him and if she's allowed to be a part of his life. but no instead she's gone behind their backs and not said anything which will make the situation a whole lot worse than he finds out. She doesn't give a s*** about his other kids she only cares about her son which makes her not a great human being because it's not like her son is the only one that she has to consider she has to consider the other children as well but she doesn't.
I honestly wanted to really like this show because I don't think there are a lot of dramas with an age Gap plot line I don't think. But it's so predictable I haven't even watched the newest episodes and last week I already predicted that after he gets amnesia Chief Ser ah would come back and convince him that they were in love instead and she would use that to get rid of dan dan in some way and I was hoping I wasn't right but apparently I am lol. All the drama from all the other family members drive me crazy I feel like dandan's stepmom is a leech I mean even her son at least he got the food truck and he's trying to earn a living now but she's just bleeding her husband dry and all the other crazy relatives I hate them all. Chief Cho delusions drive me crazy too like yeah She Jong was born of your body but he's not your son you abandoned him you could have made the choice to keep him but you did not and now you have some delusion that you can start acting like his mother. And not only do you have the delusional nature by thinking you're his mom you don't even take ygs other kids into account. Or have I seen a cast full of characters who are just so selfish and hateful. It doesn't list it as a melodrama but it totally is just the over exaggeration of everything.

The Kings affection should definitely pick up next episode cuz I think the uncle ends up getting murdered and certain factions, end up trying use that against her to try and get the title of the Crown Prince to be removed from her. So it'll be interesting to see how that plays out also they're trying to get her to get married and she agreed so it'll be interesting to see how she deals with that too.
So after reading that Yi San was a real King I looked it up. The histories show nothing about any court lady or concubine called Sung Doek Im so I don't think it will stay true to an actual history. Although someone who has more knowledge can correct me.
Started watching the show only knowing that it was about Mount Jiri and the park rangers who make their living in and around it. I had no idea it was like a supernatural thriller lol. I found the first episode to be very confusing like the first half was fine and then we got to the last 20 minutes and suddenly it's in the present and she's in a wheelchair and he's in a coma with no explanation other than that they were stranded and I was like what the hell??? Starting to understand a little more now that I've realized that it jumps back and forth from present day to the past but still a bit confused.
Same lol. I have always been super selective in the BL shows I watch because I know there are many that portray toxic elements. When I read about this one I was super excited.
So far I have really struggled to see ANY chemistry between the two leads at all. I kept hoping the pace would pick up and I would see something but nope. Then you have tonight's episode, I was like WTH?! It seemed to come out of left field.
I can actually see why Aek came across as rude, here he has his boss (who he suddenly realizes thanks to his friend pointing it out) has been making overtures on him . Aue was doing all this without actually making his feelings known to the one person he should have, he never bothered to find out if Aek felt the same way. If Aue had been open and communicative with his feelings from the beginning he and Aek could have had a more mature conversation.
Then instead after rejecting him Aue does that?!!! Seriously?!
I can understand why Aek would call a stranger, he is in shock and pain, won't be thinking clearly. Also he won't want to rely on anyone at the restaurant and he wouldn't want to burden his friends so who is he going to call then?
