Enough of this BS. We have two episodes left and we still have no resolution for the main leads. There are hardly…
You do realize he is blind right? It's not like he could actually see where the desert was. Like he has to relearn everything. Actual fact because he can't see she should have taken his hand and originally LED it to the tray so that he would know that the tray was there for one or the first time and the second time she should have told him the dessert was there I mean he's blind she has to provide auditory comment so he can visualize where things are
So I am watching this but the pacing is weird and I feel kind of rushed. For instance after his uncle like takes her away he like rushes into the room to save her and she's there by herself he grabs her and he kisses her and he's only announces that he's wildly in love with her? Like where in the hell did that come from? I could see that they started to have affection but I didn't think it was anywhere close to him suddenly announcing that he loved her lol. I like the fact that the actor plays all these like smart and careful planners but then all this his careful planning seem to go just right out the window suddenly over her?
So why didn't it occur to them that the queen is smart and cunning and she could have used a substitute but nobody stopped to think about that lol.
And then for her like she doesn't seem like she's the smartest character like when she finds out about this assassination attempt and she finally gets the chance to go and tell him and he won't listen cuz he's angry and hurt I was like why didn't you write a note you could have just like handed him the note rather than like being more suspicious by making everybody leave lol. Also like when she was saying all those hurtful words and stuff like did it never occurred to him that he can sacrifice for her but like he doesn't think she can sacrifice for him?
Also the CGI isn't that great at least compared to others Chinese dramas that I've seen.
I am watching this on IQIYI and when ever there is a song playing the song is subbed but not the Dialogue. It's driving me nuts! I end missing conversation parts so does anyone know where else to watch?
Like what's with that like they have no faith or belief in their own daughter and yet they go on and on about…
Same. Mine is really funny is her uncle is such this warm and caring person so how did the cousin turn out to be such a selfish person manipulative person lol. She'll say she's happy for you to your face but then she'll turn around and bad mouth you behind your back.
I haate parents that think so small of their childs
Like what's with that like they have no faith or belief in their own daughter and yet they go on and on about how great her cousin is except for her cousin's like a psycho because she was dying and all she thought about was how important the fish was lol . Like I'm really hoping her cousin's brought down a notch or two because she seems to have this self-inflated opinion of herself.
I'm always confused by this trope in dramas of doctors discussing someone's illness/treatment with their ex/assistant/secretary…
Same lol. Don't think the assistant had an agenda per se I think that he was just struggling because his mom had a gambling addiction and so whatever money he sent her to live on she would just spend it's one of the reasons he lived in such a shabby house. And Boris being the dick that he is just assumed it was because his boss wasn't paying him enough. Also want the cousin to get what's coming to them in fact I want the cousin , Boris, Elise, Victor and the mom to all get what's coming lol
PSA: Women/ladies/girls, please don't be a Lin Xiao Yu who followed a stranger/man into their home. Self-preservation…
Not really a stranger he's been coming to her dad's restaurant and he tries to talk to her because he has a crush on her lol. With how rude she is and that she really doesn't give him the time of day I don't get why he would help her escape in first place.
Just finished ep 17 and so frustrated I’m not sure I can keep watching. There are at least two characters I…
Worst drama for hated characters for me is young lady and gentleman. Where I basically stopped watching because except for the main couple and his kids every single side character made me crazy mad lol
I don't get why there's so many shady characters in this drama. Let's start with her cousin like was her cousin a psychopath from the very beginning and she was just good at hiding who she was?! Lol. I mean her uncle is a warm and caring person so why did his daughter turn out to be a selfish witch. The cousin just seems very manipulative because on the one hand she said in the beginning she said she was happy for her but then she turned around and was bad-mouthing her behind her back and then told her that she thinks she's actually a conniving person and that she purposely went behind her cousin's back after knowing that her cousin liked this chef in order to get him as a mentor. Not only that but her cousin encouraged her to sign up for the original competition in the first place knowing that she couldn't cook so the only way you do that is if you want the other person to be laughed at and feel like they're in inferior. Then when she was poisoned the cousin cared more about the fish than she did about the fact that her cousin could have died. She and her mentor I think totally suite each other because they're both horrible people I mean at least her cousin maybe has a chance of redeeming herself if she hangs out more with the other contestant whose Canadian yay for Canadians the nice people 🤣, I say this as a Canadian lol. Then at the competition they tried to sabotage her confidence by playing that really mean prank and I'm glad that the male lead punched him he totally deserved it. Outing her to her parents to try to get her booted out of the competition. On to her mentor Boris who's also very shady and was willing to bribe his competitors assistant in order to get information that would undermine him and maybe damage his reputation, so that he can win. Doesn't he realize that once this gets out that he used these kind of underhanded means and he encouraged his mentor mentee to do it that it's going to destroy his reputation and nobody would come to his restaurant 😡. And then let's come to Elise and her family I mean Elise can't get over the fact that he dumped her because he didn't love her and she's been poisoning him and when her mom figures it out rather than trying to talk some sense into her daughter she talks about the fact that she doesn't want her daughter to be humiliated and wants her to get all his all the assets. I mean if Kesong had died and then Not only would she eventually come out that she would be charged with attempted murder but murder lol. And then her brother during the competition also sabotaged Kesong, what is up with their family?! And she was trying to frame his assistant Li Yan for the plot of poisoning, she encouraged him to leave because she knew it would look bad for him.
I was sad watching ep 17, why little bread didn’t make anything for the first round? I was anxious as well ,…
It wasnt that she didn't make anything she just didn't finish because the other chef swapped out her greens and because she hadn't cooked a variety of dishes and she didn't or wasn't sure about making the dish she did she couldn't finish.
Anyone can explain why FL was super mad and rushed out of the competition
Well from the very beginning not only her cousin and her mentor Boris tried to sabotage her Confidence. Then she found out that he has been lying to her the entire time about having no sense of taste, I don't think she was as upset over that as the other contestants using underhanded means to try and win. Then Victor sabotaged her cooking by swapping the greens.
While you wait, would you like to try a youth drama that revolves around ice skating? The drama is dedicated to…
The first Chinese Drama I watched was the Prince of LanLing which had a beautifully tragic ending. The story had me so completely engrossed that I didn't even care lol. So sometimes if the story is that good I don't mind lol. Then other times the story can be amazing and if I find out it is tragic I will just stop watching, like Rise of The Phoenix lol.
Okay. I get it now. This drama was about her past life before she was reborn. No wonder I find it different from…
They had to do it that way because China has a ban on reincarnation stories. In Forever and Ever they can only give hints referencing One and Only and not say directly that they were reincarnated.

I am her fan 😊. I first watched her in TMoPB, but couldn't wait to see her and Don Huas story in Eternal love of Dream, The Flames Daughter, You are My Glory and The Long Ballad. I started watching the Kings Woman but stopped after she left her baby in the palace. Also started to watch Sweet dreams but am not really a fan of her in Modern dramas. I also like Allen Ren as well
