I thought it was interesting when she refused the fl's help by saying that she wouldn't step foot in a place that was so dirty but in their situation there is no place for moral superiority. It is not just QY she thinks she is better than she thinks she's better than the every female in the family because they've all accepted that this is their fate and they're doing their best to try and live with it yet she's still crying like a sheltered, pampered princess.
But I also think that it's kind of interesting and a bit of a mirror reflection. Because when QY and they were attacked by bandits her mother took her brother and ran away leaving her to an awful fate. Oh yes the male lead came in and saved her but if he hadn't saved her I don't think any of the family would actually have gone looking for her or made an effort try and get her back. And while after that the main wife felt sorry for her and adopted her the family still bullied her and out of the watchful eye if her adopted mom didn't treat her very well even her own brother was nasty to her. And it's kind of funny because during the thunderstorm when she was talking about how she really wanted a hug and the female lead wouldn't hug her it's like then think about it when the female lead needed a hug did you ever hug her no! when the other family members probably even you bullied her in the darkness did you ever reach out to hand her no! but yet you wanted her to reach out a hand to you when you were struggling.
Even though now the family is all in the same boat QM also had a truly horrific experience some would say it was worse than the female leads but nobody came in and saved her. I can't remember I was going with this I just think it's an interesting parallel of maybe how the female lead could have turned out if the male lead hadn't saved her....

The one thing that really annoyed me about this trauma is that part of it is based around that she has these prophetic dreams after she smacked her head. Literally they lasted until they got married and then after that no more prophetic dreams it was like a plot device that they just conveniently forgot about. I also got annoyed about the fact that even after they were married she still consistently denied that she could see the future.
