I think they his parents refer to him that ways because I think in their eyes he still like a little boy because it's not shown so much in the drama but apparently in the novel they send him off to boarding school at age 7 so and I'm sure that he probably came home on breaks and stuff but if you think about it that means he was away for much of the year and then after he graduated he probably he went to the UK so I think that they probably still kind of view him as not necessarily as a child, but not necessarily as an adult either I mean that is my view point.

It's called security cameras lol, a lot of houses have them in case of break ins.

For anyone bashing the show it must be doing something right.

Airing on WorkpointTV is indeed signifying a change in the whole industry. It is amazing that Workpoint is entering the BL market. They are certainly influential in the Thai mainstream tv industry.

Anyway, sorry that I’m going to nitpick, but comparing WorkpointTV to GMMTV is like comparing apple to orange.

GMMTV should be compared to Domundi as both are content producers, and WorkpointTV is to GMM25 as both are terrestrial Thai tv channels. This will support your case even better as GMM25 has much lower ratings than WorkpointTV.

Go to the Reddit thread it's a lot more positive than here where everybody's just bashing the s*** out the show.

To disagree with you about BLs not having a great plot because I love the plot in until we meet again and it's actually one of my favorites. There's also not me which just finished airing and it's plot is very dark and gritty. I also did like tale of thousand stars although it wasn't very realistic because a transplant person would never be able to live out in a remote area away from doctors especially just after he had a transplant. But I like the idea behind it. And I will agree with you I love manner of death it was the first Thai BL I watched.

I don't see a problem with him having plush dolls I mean I'm 39 years old I still have plush dolls lol.

Thanks to the fact that I read a summary that goes really in-depth about Yi's/Daoi's I don't think they're leaving nearly enough clues in the show. So in the novel they are engaged I don't know why it left it open-ended in the show. They became engaged when Daoi was 7 and Yi was 14. So basically Yi's is also Chinese immigrant family and their family is Chen, they're very wealthy and apparently have connections to the mafia although they don't really use those connections now or have much to do with that they're very big in the automotive industry. So then you have Daoi's family who is also wealthy but they were hade made some very bad financial decisions and were on the verge of bankruptcy so they came to the Chen family to talk about capital, and the Chen family needed a plot of land that Daoi's family had. Now from what I understand Daoi's family didn't treat him very well and when Yi's father met him he really liked him so in order to get him away from his family he negotiated their engagement. Apparently at some point when Yi was younger his dad asked him what kind of wifey he was looking for and he responded with he wants a wife that is small in stature has fair skin and someone he can look after and protect . So when his dad saw Daoi he knew that that was exactly what Yi was looking for. So he took them home and introduced him to his son him that he would be responsible for him now and Yi was really happy. So apparently the Chen's raised tigers. One time when Daoi was over for a visit, Yi come to the kitchen to prepare some snacks for him. Daoi wandered outside and Yi's tiger had gotten free from its enclosure and attacked Daoi. Yi ended up shooting the tiger and killing him but Daoi ended up being splattered with blood and other things leaving him severely traumatized. After waking up in the hospital he had Amnesia when it came to Yi and his dad. Eventually he remembered them but that incident and the memory surrounding it he didn't remember. This left Yi riddled with guilt because he felt like he hadn't watched him close enough. When Daoi's family found out about it they blamed the Chen family and said that they hadn't take care of him well enough and agreement was reached to send him off to boarding school. His family uses this incident to extort money from the Chen family ever since. This explains why Yi's reaction towards the dog instead of him just doing it randomly.

Cuz that's the way the characters written and apparently in the novel he's a lot more cold and aloof initially.

Personally haven't read the novel but I think it's worth reading to give context to why the characters act the way they do.

Lian doesn't think anything's wrong with his behavior he just says that to his mom to get her off their backs.

Yeah and we get a spin-off series about them.

So I understand from reading the summary about the relationship is that his family is kind of or has connections to like the mafia but anyway they're like filthy rich. And so they needed the capital and Yi's family needed land the Daoi's family had. I had read a comment that his dad was very emotionally and verbally abusive towards him. I can also see where his timidness and non assertiveness comes from if 5hats the case. But I guess after meeting him Yi's father genuinely liked him and so it's part of the negotiations they asked for his hand in marriage from the Daoi family, I mean I think Daoi was still quite Young. I think they did that just to get him out from underneath his family's control. But anyway so he came under the care of Yi. The Yi family is to keep tigers as pets and I guess one day when Dow was over he happened to wander outside and the Tigers had escaped from their pen and we're in the process of attacking him and Yi end up shooting them in front of him. So that obviously cause a lot of trauma and that's why he doesn't remember a certain period of that time. So Daoi's family has been using that incident to extort money from the family Yi family. It also explains why he had that reaction to the dog. If that had been brought up sooner it would have explained that lol. Sorry if you have already read about this.

Yes I don't know what they were thinking when they decided to leave it kind of vague. In the preview of the episode next week it looks like Yi opens up a bit more to Lian about what happened. So maybe we'll get a little bit more clarity.

So I don't know why they didn't make the distinction in the show but in the novel they are actually engaged. If you look under recent discussions there is a summary about the history of their relationship called naughty babe cuz that's the name of the second novel it gives more in depth about their relationship. Basically is something that happened in Daoi's childhood Yi carries a lot of guilt and that causes him to be very standoffish towards him.

So there is another book called naughty babe which is actually specifically about Yi and Daoi's so maybe we'll get a spin-off series about them that'll explore their relationship a bit better.

Reaction to Lian telling him he sees to much, you can do it! 😂. Although there were some parts especially Daoi and Yi's scenes that I didn't necessarily like. I did find this episode really funny and it made me laugh a lot.

I think the CCTVs were already installed although that is just me guess because why would he have them put in just because Kaeu's there?

I did like Yi telling Daoi that he just wanted to know what Daoi likes to do. It's like why would you want to know who he hangs out with since Kaeu is his only friend from what I had gathered so you know that he hangs out with him most of the time lol. The locker scene also bothered me every time he hit the locker and Daoi jumped 😡. But I also found it amusing when Daoi, hit the locker back and then looks surprised that he had done it. Or when Yi tried protect him from the ferocious golden retriever 😂. I'm just going off of what I've read from other people's comments about the history of Daoi and Yi. Is that from what I gathered Daoi's family doesn't treat him very well and his dad is very emotionally or viewable verbally abusive towards him. When they originally negotiating with the Yi family they agreed with Yi's father? To have Daoi's hand in marriage the negotiations. But I think he just did that because he saw how the family treated him and he wanted to get him away from them. Apparently Yi's father really likes him and treats like his own son. After the childhood incident where Daoi loses memory his family's been extorting the Yi family for money about that incident. So I think this is why he's very fearful I guess and not assertive where Yi is concerned. Also I think Yi and Lian similar in the fact that they should just tell their respective partners how they freaking feel!!!!! Instead they always try to do things behind the scenes instead of being upfront about it and that leads to a lot of misunderstandings lol.
