I think they his parents refer to him that ways because I think in their eyes he still like a little boy because…
Exactly. I've been reading this summary in recent discussions and I wish they'd left some of the stuff in there for context. For instance even though it was mentioned briefly that Lian had a regular table he had been previously going to the Gemini for like 5 years because he liked the music. Jay had Come over to him and was gushing about this new singer he hired so even though his identity was masked obviously Lian he was. Hopefully he was angry because he literally just dropped Kuae home. It's in the show it made it seem like he'd been playing at the Gemini for quite some time so if Lian was a regular there wouldn't his identity have been revealed sooner rather than through videos that he was being sent. Also Lian what would watch his YouTube channel which had like something like 1 million views. So it was after that he's really started investigating Kirin because he knew that if Kuae was keeping secret there were other things he'd be keeping as a secret. Also he kept his Kirin identity longer in the novels he actually was ended up performing at a concert in France and because he was actually well known and that was part of his draw that nobody knew truly knew who he was a lot of his fans ended up going there. It was at the concert that he had Actually planned to revealed his identity.
I don't see a problem with him having plush dolls I mean I'm 39 years old I still have plush dolls lol.
Only reason I can see people having a problem with him having plush dolls is because they don't think it's very manly. Which I think is the wrong way to think about.
I don't particularly agree with a lot of comment saying Lian doing 180 stuff cause I think there are hints here…
He actually doesn't care that he's been doing it before he cares that he's been lying about it. Someone else said that you know that he loves him and when Kuae was in the UK which is where the Kirin persona started he was basically looking after him from a far so he's partly angry at himself that he missed such a huge chunk of who Kuae is, also at Kuae for feeling like he has to hide it from him. But of course this is better explain to the novel they don't really do a great job of explaining it in the show.
Man i hate hate hate everytime they use the word 'naughty' everytime to describe kuea's action. From Hia is more…
I think they his parents refer to him that ways because I think in their eyes he still like a little boy because it's not shown so much in the drama but apparently in the novel they send him off to boarding school at age 7 so and I'm sure that he probably came home on breaks and stuff but if you think about it that means he was away for much of the year and then after he graduated he probably he went to the UK so I think that they probably still kind of view him as not necessarily as a child, but not necessarily as an adult either I mean that is my view point.
It's called security cameras lol, a lot of houses have them in case of break ins.
For anyone bashing the show it must be doing something right.

Cutie Pie is the first BL series in thai TV history airing on workpointTV (to understand the magnitude: workpoint has billions of views and multiple times more subscribers than gmmtv), the series is gaining extreme traction, including overseas markets (rights have already sold to Japan and Korea, it's always trending on weibo when it airs), it's the thai drama with the quickest viewership on youtube gaining over a million views under 24 hours for every part (not per episode, one single part of an episode (!), the show is already clocking in 35+ million views and it's not even halfway in, on a completely new channel, with actors from a small talent agency, it's already overtaken thai dramas who were expected to be huge, including het dramas with very popular actors), the series OST is the longest charting one ever on T-Pop Stage (Thailand's biggest music show), sponsors and advertisers who never booked BL stars before are fighting to get their hands on the actors. People are speculating that KinnPorsche is the only thing which might brake the increasing explosion but... KP has a different target audience than CT and the KP actors are already selling a very different image.

Airing on WorkpointTV is indeed signifying a change in the whole industry. It is amazing that Workpoint is entering the BL market. They are certainly influential in the Thai mainstream tv industry.
Anyway, sorry that I’m going to nitpick, but comparing WorkpointTV to GMMTV is like comparing apple to orange.
GMMTV should be compared to Domundi as both are content producers, and WorkpointTV is to GMM25 as both are terrestrial Thai tv channels. This will support your case even better as GMM25 has much lower ratings than WorkpointTV.
Not trying to bash on BL or anything.. But the only decent BL series I had encountered most probably be Manner…
To disagree with you about BLs not having a great plot because I love the plot in until we meet again and it's actually one of my favorites. There's also not me which just finished airing and it's plot is very dark and gritty. I also did like tale of thousand stars although it wasn't very realistic because a transplant person would never be able to live out in a remote area away from doctors especially just after he had a transplant. But I like the idea behind it. And I will agree with you I love manner of death it was the first Thai BL I watched.
I still have NO idea what hia means when he says he wants to "Discipline" kuea.....like what's that abt....also…
Thanks to the fact that I read a summary that goes really in-depth about Yi's/Daoi's I don't think they're leaving nearly enough clues in the show. So in the novel they are engaged I don't know why it left it open-ended in the show. They became engaged when Daoi was 7 and Yi was 14. So basically Yi's is also Chinese immigrant family and their family is Chen, they're very wealthy and apparently have connections to the mafia although they don't really use those connections now or have much to do with that they're very big in the automotive industry. So then you have Daoi's family who is also wealthy but they were hade made some very bad financial decisions and were on the verge of bankruptcy so they came to the Chen family to talk about capital, and the Chen family needed a plot of land that Daoi's family had. Now from what I understand Daoi's family didn't treat him very well and when Yi's father met him he really liked him so in order to get him away from his family he negotiated their engagement. Apparently at some point when Yi was younger his dad asked him what kind of wifey he was looking for and he responded with he wants a wife that is small in stature has fair skin and someone he can look after and protect . So when his dad saw Daoi he knew that that was exactly what Yi was looking for. So he took them home and introduced him to his son him that he would be responsible for him now and Yi was really happy. So apparently the Chen's raised tigers. One time when Daoi was over for a visit, Yi come to the kitchen to prepare some snacks for him. Daoi wandered outside and Yi's tiger had gotten free from its enclosure and attacked Daoi. Yi ended up shooting the tiger and killing him but Daoi ended up being splattered with blood and other things leaving him severely traumatized. After waking up in the hospital he had Amnesia when it came to Yi and his dad. Eventually he remembered them but that incident and the memory surrounding it he didn't remember. This left Yi riddled with guilt because he felt like he hadn't watched him close enough. When Daoi's family found out about it they blamed the Chen family and said that they hadn't take care of him well enough and agreement was reached to send him off to boarding school. His family uses this incident to extort money from the Chen family ever since. This explains why Yi's reaction towards the dog instead of him just doing it randomly.
