Well I think it's because he has been to much in his own head trying to figure out Lian's "plan" lol

No he still hasn't figure out that Lian knows despite their being ample evidence that he just writes off as a coincidence lol

finally with the date they had a little bit of open communication Then then the egg incident happened. Where he asked if Lian wanted help cooking. Since he doesn't know how to cook and Lian seemed to have forgotten that despite being told twice.He ended up choosing a meat cleaver to chop the egg. He ended up taking like a huge swing at the egg and Lian grabbed the knife and said why would you choose such a big knife to chop the egg? and then basically told him he's in the way he needed to go sit down. Of course every time he gets angry what's the first thing that Kuea jumps to? It is that Lian had told him didn't love him. And so he started to cry and Lian said why are you crying? I was Just concerned cuz I was afraid you would hurt yourself. Then Kuea said that he feels like he is burden and nothing he does is ever right and he now understands why Lian doesn't love him.

It was because he reacted after Kuea said he understands now why he doesn't love him. There is nothing you can say so to that really so he tried to react by showing him.

It's not even that he's afraid to tell him about the producer it is because if he told him about the producer then he would no longer be hiding the fact that he's Kirin.

This is also in the summary for naughty babe and it's not that he's afraid of him it's the fact that Diao's father verbally and emotionally abused him that is why he comes off as timid and jumpy. To be honest in the past actually wasn't his fault it was an accident but he still feels tremendously guilty about it.

It's not just Lian he is lying to though it's his parents as well.

People have said he even stopped him from meeting that Korean Producer. I said if he had just told the truth Lian would have escorted him there lol.

Yes the show itself doesn't do a great job of explaining I read the summary that city of Angels posted in the recent discussions and then drew my own conclusions.

Apparently in the book Nuer is just used ad a plot device to make Lian jealous. So the show has given him a much bigger role.

Because they have their own book Naughty Babe the show has kept their relationship kind of vague.

He didn't really want to call if the engagement.

He said it out of anger, he didn't really mean it, not that I am excusing what he said. I really meant is I don't love this version of you but because he was angry it didn't come out that way. He had just found out that the person he thought he knew isn't really that person at all. Kuea is really insecure and doesn't believe that Lian could love the real him, when in fact that is the person he loves. He wants Kuea to have the courage to trust him and tell him these things on his own. Which is why he doesn't confront him head on. There have been several times where he has I know what you are doing behind my back. Kuea's first thought is he is trying to trap me.

Kuea comes from an old and powerful bloodline which is akin to royalty, if you were to mention the Keraati name it is recognised by everyone. So he probably should have bodyguards. Instead his parents have allowed him to Have lot of freedom with very little safety precautions. So it is no wonder Lian had someone watching to make sure nothing happened.

Kuea was in the UK so he had less supervision. Since his parents and Lian weren't around.

As for his parents his dad's an ambassador and his Families blood line is almost akin to royalty so with this comes certain expectations in how you should look, act and behave. When he said he wanted to switch majors the two subjects his dad mentioned was Political Science and then when Kuea mentioned engineering immediately his Dad juat jumped to computer engineering even though he hadn't even mentioned it. Is Mom cut in and said they'd ok with whatever he wanted to study.

Lian he be there because he went on a Saturday and Kirin performs on Thursday so is just a fluke that he happened to be in the audience when he revealed himself.

Watching the show a couple times I can totally see that he was angry it's why he walked away the first time and then after Kuea followed and ask he said he hadn't walked away he just came to get a file, which was an excuse. Then walked away again I think he needed to calm down because he was afraid of what he would say but Kuea following him so he ended up saying things that were hurtful.

This the thing is like the timeline in the show is kind of vague as it doesn't say exactly how much time has passed since his granddad died but I'm assuming it hasn't been that long. In the novel he hasn't been singing at the Gemini for very long because Jay ends up gushing to Lian about his new singer.
