There's been several times where he said force doesn't work on Kuea so that's why he does things in a roundabout way. I think the only problem with not having the talk is obviously when you're reading about it it's quite romanticized and it doesn't talk about the nitty gritty of having sex so I had romanticized it a lot and then when I actually did it I guess it was very different from what I had expected lol

I guess I view it more through the Dom/Sub lens. I have roped my partner into watching it and he is a Dom and we even discussed it as if that's what the relationship is Dom/Sub .

If as a parent your child is watching a show like this then I would be sitting and having a conversation about it. That is just me though because my mom never had these kinds of conversations with me and I was reading things as a child that were completely inappropriate lol. When I asked her about once she said it saved her from having to have those embarrassing and awkward convos. I would hope that most parents would have one.

I don't think trying to get him to be truthful is tearing down the walls by force. He just wants him to trust him enough to be open about who he is since they will be getting married. Even during the Pentagon when they were playing Never Have I Ever and Yi forced him to admit he had a superbike. The death glare Lian shot him from behind Kuea's back because he doesn't want Kuea to feel forced he wants him to tell on his own. He is trying to do it in a non-confrontational manner.

On this we agree but when you are almost like royalty there are certain lifestyle choices you are expected to make. They live in a completely different reality then we do.

Take the British Queen and Family as an example the Princes William and Henry. Their were certain schools that they were expected to attend from Primary School to Highschool, even Universities . Even for careers there is only certain ones that are approved for them to study and go into. While Prince William and Kate Middleton have broken with tradition for their children in a lot of respects it still within the realm of what would be acceptable.
Even Prince Harry as much as he was a wild child still only pursued careers that the royal family approved of like going into the military.

So while we cannot begin to comprehend such a restrictive lifestyle because we have always had the freedom to be who we are no matter what. That is the lifestyle that Kuea was raised into. So it's no wonder he hides who he is, I actually think that his parents would accept him tbh. When he was back in Thailand and wanted to switch degrees from political science to engineering, his dad immediate assumed it would be computer engineering but he actually never specified he just kind of nodded and went with it. His mom did say they would be fine with whatever he wanted to study. So I think it's just his own insecurities saying they wouldn't accept him.

Also Lian has supported him he knows he is in Automotive engineering, has he said anything or tried to get him to change degrees or even stopped him from studying at that university? No
He goes to The Gemini and listens to Kuea, when he found out Kuea had quit he and Jay worked together to get him back to the club. He even told Jay that he would leave the decision up to Kuea as to whether he wanted to perform.
He even sponsors the racetrack that Kuea likes to burn around on. So to me all these things say that Lian would accept who he is all he has to do is realize it.

I wish they had used it because, Nuea's purpose is kind of lost tbh.

But it's not just about his education, his house, even his Ducati were all paid for by his parents/Lian. Yes he is earning his own money but he isn't using it, he never has had a need too because money has always been readily available. In fact he kind of had forgotten about his UK account until Diao mentions something later on.

I had read a comment somewhere where someone had said that yes Lian could tear down this protective wall that Kuea has built around himself. Kuea is the one who built it so he is the one that needs to tear it down. There has been couple times where Lian has straight said I know what you do behind my back or Yi says some rich kid likes to rent out the circuit. Did Kuea take that opening to tell the truth? no lol he just thought it was a trap 🤣.

Since I am not a Thai speaker I think it's a shame that weare missing some of the context. There are some comments on YouTube for episode 6 part 3 that when he says is that really important right now Hia? He actually says is that really important right now Ai Hia. Which we miss apparently Ai is what you would use when you're addressing somebody younger than you and it's very informal so not something say to somebody who's older than you. Apparently in the tone that he says Hia in it can a very similar translation in English to bastard. That's why Hia says what did you say? And he responds oh did I not think that to myself?
