I kind of do feel his parents have more of a say in his life since he's living off of their money and they're paying for his lifestyle. I lived at home till I was 26 and when I lived at home I had to abide by my parents rules still.

It's not just Lian he is hiding from his parents too. He comes from an old bloodline that is almost like royalty.
Also his dad is an ambassador With that comes certain expectations with how you need act, dress and behave. Kuea doesn't fit since he likes to play drums/sing, get his hands dirty and dress the way he does. So of course he is going to be insecure about being accepted because he doesn't fit into the box of the lifestyle he was raised into. So of course he would struggle with wondering if Lian is going to accept his since he sees him as kind of being the same image and lifestyle as his parents.

I think In that regard he is kind of dense lol. After their date night when he said oh the reason why you want to break off your engagement is because I don't spend enough time with you? I was like Lian how can be so dense? Lol. So I think it just never occured to that the words would Kuea that much.

Like Lian has said to Yi he is secretly stubborn, there have been a few times he could have just admitted it but refuses to do so.

I think I saw somewhere it should happen after they leave the club. Where they go home and Lian apologizes and admits he said it out if anger he promises to not say it again.

I also disagree on the no chemistry, their chemistry is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The things is it's not just Lian he has been lying to his parents too. I feel because he spent such a large chunk of his life in boarding school and away from his parents and Lian they seem to have have had a very hands off approach to raising him. It's just my guess but I don't think they were very physically affectionate either. Because he so starved for physical and emotional contact.

Well I think it's because he has been to much in his own head trying to figure out Lian's "plan" lol

No he still hasn't figure out that Lian knows despite their being ample evidence that he just writes off as a coincidence lol

finally with the date they had a little bit of open communication Then then the egg incident happened. Where he asked if Lian wanted help cooking. Since he doesn't know how to cook and Lian seemed to have forgotten that despite being told twice.He ended up choosing a meat cleaver to chop the egg. He ended up taking like a huge swing at the egg and Lian grabbed the knife and said why would you choose such a big knife to chop the egg? and then basically told him he's in the way he needed to go sit down. Of course every time he gets angry what's the first thing that Kuea jumps to? It is that Lian had told him didn't love him. And so he started to cry and Lian said why are you crying? I was Just concerned cuz I was afraid you would hurt yourself. Then Kuea said that he feels like he is burden and nothing he does is ever right and he now understands why Lian doesn't love him.

It was because he reacted after Kuea said he understands now why he doesn't love him. There is nothing you can say so to that really so he tried to react by showing him.

It's not even that he's afraid to tell him about the producer it is because if he told him about the producer then he would no longer be hiding the fact that he's Kirin.

This is also in the summary for naughty babe and it's not that he's afraid of him it's the fact that Diao's father verbally and emotionally abused him that is why he comes off as timid and jumpy. To be honest in the past actually wasn't his fault it was an accident but he still feels tremendously guilty about it.

People have said he even stopped him from meeting that Korean Producer. I said if he had just told the truth Lian would have escorted him there lol.

Yes the show itself doesn't do a great job of explaining I read the summary that city of Angels posted in the recent discussions and then drew my own conclusions.
