Well, I just googled it and it’s considered a Taiwanese series. I’ve watched other BL Taiwanese series and they definitely have a lot more creativity and freedom than any series that would be done by mainland China . It was apparently filmed in Taiwan and Hong Kong in order to get around the censorship rules of mainland China so considering censorship wasn’t as much of an issue. Yes I feel they could’ve done better with editing now that I know this.

Well we know with it being released in Japan we won’t have to worry about censorship so hopefully they can do a far better job with steamy scenes 😂

Maybe they will do something like they did in the long ballad since Leo Lu was underage. When it looks like they will kiss they camera panned out and focused instead on parakeets so the actual actors were blurred out.

That they could get around it by recasting or using AI to swap the act faces or something.

I also was like thinking that she’s the first character that I could relate to when she was struggling to walk up all those stairs, and she was so out of breath 😂

The thing that annoyed me about Ru Ling is that it’s like she was trying to be ruthless because she’s like oh I have to save my people, but then she couldn’t actually be ruthless and actually pick a side. She was just so wishy-washy🤣 like even her sister said like her loyalties are divided and then she was like no they’re not and I kept thinking yes they are.

She was deluding herself that she could kill him and that Nan Jui and the female lead wouldn’t get hurt. Honestly was such a hypocrite because she’s like oh my people are being tortured. They’re being slaved. I have to kill him to bring down the barrier between the demon realm and the mortal realm. All the while refusing to acknowledge that he was enslaved for five centuries as a child where they continuously tortured him and they talked about how they tortured him. It’s like yeah he’s only one person, but how is that? Any different from how your people are treated? It’s like get off your high horse. I would think that she would’ve had empathy for what he went through because he literally was enslaved to keep their realm safe due to his power since he was a child completely isolated yeah she honestly really read me most of the time for the first half.

Because they couldn’t bring him back forever every night too for whatever reason and they ended up switching actors. It’s also one of the reasons why I didn’t go back and watch it because it drives me crazy when they do this. I don’t mind them changing supporting actors, but God forbid the main actors stay the same.

At first, I wasn’t too keen on Hua Yong, I mean, I know he was only pretending to be in Omega, but his constant-subservience was beginning to grate on me, I guess. Knowing that it’s not really his natural state maybe? I like him much better being more forceful and assertive. 😆

lol, I was thinking about this yesterday and I think China should just stop trying to make these dramas because they can’t do them justice because of censorship. I feel that the seven dramas should now just be left to other Asian countries like Singapore or Thailand or Taiwan because they actually have the freedom to do justice for the scripts, for some reason when I first looked at what country produce this drama, I thought it said Taiwan until you mentioned censorship, and then I went back and saw it was China 😅. I have the same problem with addicted heroin, I don’t know what it was, but I just felt like the one stepbrother was just too forceful and turned to courage too easily? I felt the other brother just felt deeply uncomfortable, but didn’t have the assertiveness to stand up to the other character. I guarantee that due to censorship there will be no second season, if a second season was intended

That’s why and a lot of them MEGAVERSE stories Alpha will refuse to mark their omega during the heat because they know that they’re not in a clear space of mind to be clear enough to consent. Obviously it’s different if they talked about it before hand and did it during the heat, but in a lot of stories outfits will not do it in the heat of the moment.

I’m also interest in omega verse stories when I first read the synopsis I don’t know why, but I didn’t realize that that’s what the story was about and once I realized it, it peaked my interest
