Really hoping that they don’t make the fact that she can see the future a modern side plot that just gets forgotten as a drama goes along. I’ve seen that in other shows where eventually it’s mentioned less and less until it’s not mentioned at all it’s so aggravating, especially if that’s supposed to be part of the main plot
i m about to start another controversial drama.... whats wrong with me idk....Can someone tell me the drama age…
Not really condoning it in real life, but very unconventional way of trying to get her not to take her own life. Do we find out about her relationship with the parents considering that she lives alone? I know he could alert like a higher authority to get her into therapy by notifying her parents, but since we don’t know their dynamic and she lives alone, makes me wonder if they would even care.
Immortality is a drama that’s based on a novel that’s about a same sex relationship so even though it’s censored with China’s current sentiment towards the LGBTQ community, even if it’s censored these type of shows won’t air after the crackdown a year or two ago
There is no official confirmation yet because wang hedi is shooting another drama currently but there are several…
OK, thank you I just hated that it takes so long for them to get second seasons out. So maybe I’ll wait but then again by the time it comes out, I might’ve lost interest anyway lol
This is what kind of drove me crazy about the second female lead like I can understand her, wanting to save her…
Do you really like the fact that there are a lot of kissing scenes lol. That the actress is making an effort to make the scene look natural. I was saying to my friend on Facebook because of the fact that in a lot of like historical dramas, they make the kisses look super innocent, and chaste, or like one of the actors usually just dance they like a plan while the other actor does all the work lol
13. Is this cute immortal soft in the head? He left all the actual bad guys-the palace jerks-to say Sima Jiao…
This is what kind of drove me crazy about the second female lead like I can understand her, wanting to save her people from literal abuse and slavery but also it’s like you’re not doing any thinking for yourself like you’ve befriended the female lead. Do you really think she would stay with him or even the serpent snake would stay with him if he were like they are trying to portray him as? Like she says that she thought the female lead was her friend, but then didn’t actually trust her enough to be honest about the fact that she was trying to free her people because if she really thought that with any real sincerity, then she would’ve worked with the female Emilie to try and find a different way to get her people back home. It really made me angry actually for her to be like oh I am concerned about them and I don’t want them to be hurt, but it’s like the black snake having lived with the male aid for 500 years when you kill him do you really think that he’s not going to be hurt And when she started to realize that she could use the female to track him does she not feel like the female he will ever forgive her for killing the guy. She’s in love with? I just thought for someone who’s supposed to be so coming and you know, smart as she’s too stressful. She wouldn’t trust anyone even the evil guy like she put more trust in the evil guy then she did and the person or two people who supposedly she was supposed to be friends with.
It really drives me crazy because I feel like they often treat their audience like they’re stupid or like they can’t think for themselves.
A drama that I watched last year called parallel worlds with Bai Yu and Ni Ni, not only did they have a disclaimer of the beginning of each X episode to say that the X episode was fictional and all characters places whatever was fictional, but then they would drop random scenes of some girl painting a picture on her patiowhile an senior gentleman sits off to the side, telling her the story. I just found it so incredibly jarring that it pulled me out of the narrative of the story and I couldn’t continue watching it. I was like not only do you have to tell us at the beginning of each episode that it’s fiction but then you also have to reinforce it by having random episodes that have nothing to do with the story again say it’s fiction…… like I’m like the Chinese government must think that people are not smart. I’m like obviously we’re not advanced in our technology yet to really know if parallel worlds are real so as of right now I would say they’re fiction
this feng qi really gets on my nerves. he is like a tantrum kid going through puberty
I know it’s like dude you literally spent like all of 30 seconds with her when she saved your life. Where is the female male lead actually spent time quality time together.
It was because I guess during the airing of a drama involving reincarnation a teenager committed suicide in order to have a better life and her next life. The Chinese government doesn’t want people to think that oh the life I have in the future would be better than the one in the present. I think that’s why a lot of drama historical dramas involving reincarnation the past has like really tragic story you’re ending to just reinforce that the life you have in the present is the best life.
for real though that love never fails drama that she was replaced I couldn’t even watch it cause I was shipping…
The only time I saw celebrity come back from it was Elaina Song or Song Ze Er. But that’s only because after a year of investigation, she was found not guilty.
