I personally prefer if the classic taiwanese dramas will never be touch by chinese remakes. Like these classic melodramas, because knowing chinese dramas and their love for cute romance they might ruin a classic, make it lighter to suit the newer audience. Making the emotions of these classics absent.

I feel like we like the same genres and I’m glad. I like melodramas and psychological thrillers with enough humor and romance to spice things up. You can check out my list. I’ve compiled some of my personal favourites.

I rewatch it once a year. Every Kdrama I find a deep connection to, I always rewatch once a year. My ahjussi easily tops for me. It’s just pure masterpiece. The dialogues just tugs at my heartstrings all the time; every rewatch I find myself crying and it’s healing me in some way. It’s dark, heavy, riveting and touching, it’s truly the best work for me.. My top 3 as of the moment; My Ahjussi, It’s okay it’s love, Flower of evil.

I’m straight. And even I agree with you! I prefer this over some of the more popular BL series. It’s special for me because they tackled how gays were treated before. I really enjoyed every moment in this series.

I’ll chose uwma over tharntype any day. This is how a BL romance should be. Deep and meaningful. Wholesome and romantic. Respectful, forgiving, accepting. This series will always have a special place in my heart.

The male lead was really soft and gentle with the female lead and I fell in love with him instantly. He’s really the only one who tried to understand the female lead and stayed beside her from start to end. I don’t know why this has low rating but i know it definitely deserve more views! The plot is amazing and it’s not that actually predictable. I love everything about this drama. And I know I prefer taiwanese dramas more than chinese dramas. Please watch this!
