The confrontation at the beginning between JaeIn and GC was so satisfying. She said all the things she needed to say to him. His sudden love for her is not believable. It’s probably because he now knows what a POS SeRi is and he’s a narcissist. I think I’m going to rewatch that scene right now!
when TaeO said “Every word that comes out of your mouth is a lie” to SeRi, my jaw dropped. It’s just like her conversations with GC! I can’t wait for the big paternity reveal!
Yes to all your points - and he doesn't really look at Ji Ho with love in my opinion. I am curious to know if…
I kind of sense he’s not looking to raise JiHo. I won’t be surprised if JaeIn winds up raising him after the evil duo go to prison. When she was pretending to have amnesia and act like his mom, I think she truly enjoyed being with him. Of course no one will ever replace EunO, but She would be a good replacement mom if she can get over the face that he is SeRi’s son. Just a possibility.
I loved the contrast b/w the two "home made dinners" in today's ep. In both instances the "hidden"…
Yes, I loved how the two dinners were completely opposite. Also, GiMan really is my favorite in that family now. That introduction to SeRi was hysterical.
I’m trying to figure out the preview conversation between SeRi and TaeO about having children. Was she with GC before she even met TaeO and then cheated with TaeO as part of an elaborate scheme to steal his sisters identity? She even slept with him to get close to his family. Previews are often misleading so I’ll have to wait till tomorrow. Also JaeIn overhears them talking so there a couple of interesting things coming up
Why would JaeIn willingly get into GC car?? maybe the old version but not the new one. His confession was kind of laughable. He doesn’t love anyone, other than power and money. He also can’t stand seeing her happy with anyone else. I can’t wait until he finds out that the only person he seems to love isn’t even his biological son. That will be the best episode! I wonder how long we have to wait for that. I’m thinking maybe at episode 95.
I’ve enjoyed this drama so much I’ll miss it when it’s over. I dropped The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun.…
I doubt that the next one will be good as this one. This really has everything. Betrayal, dysfunctional family, business, love, loss, hate, and of course satisfying revenge. I thought all the actors were perfect for their parts. There is a good mix of drama and even humor. Of course the usual tropes are there. This is a makjong after all and that’s why we’re here. I’d love to see some of these actors in a mainstream k drama. After 89 episodes I’ve become attached to them.
