- in Geats each player transforms into a Kamen Rider and can find or win a "mission box" that contains a "raise buckle", this gives them additional armor, weapons and abilities
- in The Spirealm they participate in their normal appearance and don't transform, but sometimes they equip themselves with items or weapons that they find in the level
- in Geats the focus is particularly on exciting and action-packed fight scenes
- in The Spirealm there is less fighting and a lot of focus on solving the mystery in each level/"door" to finally find the "key" to finish the level
- the atmosphere in The Spirealm is more oppressive and creepy, there are a lot of horror elements
