I am especially attached to this show as this was my official gateway to K drama world. Absolutely loved this show. The chemistry between the leads is so great that I was quite stuck for sometime and did not wish to see their other dramas as I didn't want to see them both with other leads, haha. I watched this show twice and that's extremely rare for me. LMH is everything a woman can dream of in this drama. He and only he can convince me that he is someone as regal, manly and charming as a real King! He looked absolutely smashing in every damn frame. Kim Go Eun is such an amazing actress. I am blown away by how effortlessly stunning she is in every frame. She played kind of a tomboy in this show but looked breathtakingly beautiful in some of the scenes. Her pining away for her King was so beautifully portrayed. I really believed in their love and find it surprising that some didn't find their love story convincing. For me it was a well developed arc of the story and flowed organically like a beautiful river.

ROFL. 100% agree with you. This is one of my most FAV dramas of all times . All the reasons you mentioned, exactly why I love it. JCW is so hot I cannot. The romance is out of the world cute. Just too adorable and heart melting. How I wish this lead pair had more dramas together :,(

I could not get over this drama so I immediately rewatched it the second time LOL! This has never happened before to me. What a heart warming, absolutely amazing drama. So well made, well written, genuine heart felt performances by everyone, great story telling. A gem of a show. I fell in love with the leads and I sincerely hope they make a season 2 of it though I know in my heart that chances of that happening are nearly zero, lol.

I concur with this absolutely! Choice of dramas can be a point of discussion yes but acting wise JCW is without a blemish!

I have watched only 3 of his dramas as I am new to K drama land but I fell for him hook, line and sinker right from the word go. Such an incredible actor, swoon worthy looks, charming to the core, handsome, amazing with action and unbelievable in romance. Sigh! what a lucky woman it will be who he ultimately marries. My heart will burst lolll.

I might have lost my mind because I created a MDL profile because I just cannot contain my love for JCW anymore!!! Nearly dying to see him in an action drama once more. But, let me tell you action without any romance won't be as exciting for me. I really hope we get to see some sweet romance between the leads here too. After all it's JCW! How can you even imagine a drama he is in without his legendary kisses lol!
