I feel that this comment section has been very dismissive of people who expected romance from this drama. I am…
I so agree! I myself don’t watch Romance only genres. There are far too many shows that I have loved which had very less to no romance. The problem here is that the tone set in the first 3-4 episodes did make me believe this was going to be a drama with a generous dose of romance along with the main concept of food. And I loved it for exactly that because the leads complement each other so greatly. It’s been a great letdown for me honestly. The last 3 episodes were just stuck on the food competition with almost zero progress on any other aspect. Even the main villain- Consort Kang feels like a measly side character who feels more like a nagging mild pain in the tooth than anything really dangerous or worth giving importance. The first 4-5 episodes built so much anticipation regarding everything not just romance that it sometimes feels like I am not even watching the same show anymore, lol. However, preview for episode 10 seems interesting and like things are finally picking up. Let’s hope the rest of the episodes will make up for the time lost and in a good, satisfying way.
Oh my! I started this drama not realising it was 20 episodes!!!! I liked the first episode, although I was somewhat confused as the tone suddenly shifted to comedy after that intense beginning. However, it’s engaging and entertaining. I will come back and post my review if and when I finish the series.
Is there anyone fighting here except most of us just discussing? What about users who agree with each other on…
Lol agree. Best approach would be to scroll away through the comments that one doesn’t align with or finds annoying. But if people with difference of opinions are discussing something without fighting, let them instead of making a fuss.
I started losing interest in this drama, because of the cooking contest. There’s only four episodes left what…
I am kind of with you on this. My God the first 5 episodes were so good that I felt hypnotised by this drama. But episode 6 onwards it is feeling stagnant. Seriously, I was so excited for this show and used to look forward to the episodes like a silly fool in love , but I am feeling disappointed at the moment. The food and all is great but it feels like we’re going nowhere. The romance which is was one of it’s main assets has been relegated to the sidelines and it’s a shame.
even tho I'm enjoying the story, there's a few bits I'm not liking so far esp after ep 4.-the romance is unnecessary,…
The romance is ABSOLUTELY necessary! I wouldn’t watch this show if there was none. In fact it’s not enough for me atp. And I am sure many are interested in this show due to the romance angle specially since the leads have electrifying chemistry.
Episode 5 did not disappoint at all!!! Omg! The heart flutters I feel for them, I was missing while watching dramas since sometime now. Loved everything about this episode and yes it made me so hungry. But the last scenes inside the greenhouse were the best. Can’t wait for the next epi.
My first post. Came to say this: Don’t feed the trolls. Responding to trolls validates their behavior, but ignoring…
Actually the success of this drama and the love it’s receiving speaks for itself so what’s even the need to get bothered about that one commenter who keeps harping over age gap nonsense?
I am unable to continue this show. I have lost interest and am stuck on episode 4. It’s a shame though because I really wanted to watch it for KJY. Can someone please tell if the romance in this is something to look forward to or there’s no hope?
The kiss!! First of all, I wasn’t expecting it at all so it hit me like a rock and I gawked at the screen but soon I found myself sighing and my toes curling. How can a kiss be this gentle and passionate at the same time..?! Their chemistry is just fire.
Oh happy day! I just visited his profile casually and wait what he’s confirmed one more drama…? Yay! Please God let this be a romance genre. Action + Romance even better because JCW is the ultimate of both genres.
I wanted to wait till all episodes are out so I can watch without feeling anxious but currently I am like a hypnotised person who MUST watch the next episode while already dreading the week long wait for the next two. Help!
“Why is a grown man not dressed properly?” I couldn’t stop laughing since he was trying to look sexy and…
I was a little confused about that too. Can you please explain what was the meaning of the king being half dressed for dinner? I mean I don’t think he was trying to seduce her or anything but I didn’t get why he was dressed like that.
Lmao when she was describing her handbag! Then again her adorable friend Gil Geum making a twisted mouth to whisper to her…hahahaha this drama has some extremely funny moments.
