Imagine one day going on MDL before watching episodes and you see new tag appear: ex-girlfriend comes back, and you almost spit out your water.

Well when they were taking pictures after graduation you could see mom didn't like her but idk something must have happened after that beach scene where his mom would see her otherwise it doesn't make sense.

They made hair loss really big deal in 1 episode and it was very noticable BUTT then after it got completely ignored. This happened for basically every possible detail. I wouldn't expect much from continuity and attention to details. It's a show focused on getting the characters in situations to make jokes and references around without heavy proof read or deep script that cares avout being grounded or accurate.

It's fine because target audience don't care and it's good enough for the budget and average kdrama that it is. There are ton of stuff in it if you start thinking about it won't make sense.

Well I am surprised by this comment. You are absolutely right. While those themes may be hard to watch atleast it's grounded and not forced in. It makes sense and is fitting and should make you feel uncomfortable.

In this show they chose to go for the power to work only on butt because they consider that a comedy not sa. Power to only work on butt makes no sense and is forced choice while those other things you mentioned are uncomfortable themes. Power could work on any part of the body so making it work on butt was a choice because they think it's funny or something.

Now I don't mind power on butts and it doesn't make me feel uncomfortable but it still is what it is and I don't see the humor in it like most people here think it's hilarious which makes me feel weird not the show. I just find it a stupid choice for cheap laughs for some poeple that would maybe be interesting to explore as a one off joke if done well but not as premise of a whole show with no payoffs, comedic or otherwise.

Like character has to touch butts for power to work so she can save people is fine for me, I don't even blame her for that it's for the good of the people but it's still sexual assault just for the joke that she needs to touch butts because some writter forced it in.

I am more in disagreement with writters and people who find power working on butt justifiable for it to be made comedy off. Like the joke of it is not paying off for them to make power work specifically only on butts for no justifiable reason. And no her holding cow butt while she got the power does not make it make sense to work like that, it was written to work like that.

Now I am gonna be extremely surprised if this butt stuff pays off in future episodes and gives strong reasons why it was a necessary choice. The things I don't like about this drama is not even the butt stuff that much. Butt stuff is just a minor thing that people usually give biggest pushback and get defensice about against. Drama is ok average drama with usual flaws.

Thanks for great input and giving me hope for commenters under this drama. It's nice to see someone who can discuss critical stuff and is not just defensive or dismissive.

Well yes but everytime I seen someone just mentioning it people get very defensive and make fun of the op and/or gaslight them.

It was way worse in past comments of this show for valid normal critiques that were in good taste people got very insulting responses.

Even here person just said some factually correct statements about it and expressed their feeling about it only to get ridiculed and personal.

All I said that op statements are true. I said nothing about hating this drama. I wasn't even critical with this comment, it's just weird people downplay stuff and act like what was said is not valid.

Ofc there are things I dislike in drama but I can differentiate actions characters do. I just find it weird when people chose to normalize it and say it's fine.

Actions that characters do are not fine but you can still enjoy watching drama even if you don't like their actions. Now saying it's ok for them to do some of the stuff is what I disagree with and people seem weirdly accepting of some messed up stuff.

So I am fine with any drama having messed up stuff in it but people defending it is weird af to me.

You can enjoy drama and not agree with character actions. Just because you are watching it doesn't mean you condone it. What is weird when someone tries to deny for what it is and downplay it.

If I watch a show about serial killer it doesn't mean I think their actions are fine so I don't go around saying what they did is not that bad.

So I disagree with your opinion on it being fine. It's fine to watch it and enjoy it if you want to but justifying it as it being fine is where I disagree. Male leads forcing on girls is also not fine so idk why you would bring that up.

Yeah that is wrong mentality for a cop and he is being irresponsible and totally deserved to be removed from Seoul. He legit almost got himself and civilian killed, learned nothing and went back in solo like a thug and assault them which would legally give them upper hand in court and reduce their sentence or dismiss their case.

His approach is hurtful to police bussiness and he only cares about himself not actually doing good job. His actions IRL would make criminals walk free.

I understand and was giving a pass for ton of inaccuracies in this show because it's not serious show but that was beyond dumb and suicidal.

So they get outnumbered and dumped into the ocean and instead of calling backup after getting rescued from death he goes back again and solo beat them up.. I am sorry but wtf was that braindead logic..
