Yeah that is wrong mentality for a cop and he is being irresponsible and totally deserved to be removed from Seoul. He legit almost got himself and civilian killed, learned nothing and went back in solo like a thug and assault them which would legally give them upper hand in court and reduce their sentence or dismiss their case.

His approach is hurtful to police bussiness and he only cares about himself not actually doing good job. His actions IRL would make criminals walk free.

I understand and was giving a pass for ton of inaccuracies in this show because it's not serious show but that was beyond dumb and suicidal.

So they get outnumbered and dumped into the ocean and instead of calling backup after getting rescued from death he goes back again and solo beat them up.. I am sorry but wtf was that braindead logic..

And if he had to break down the door to get into that next door room then it made no sense to go around. So door was unlocked by chance in that next door room ?

I am talking based on webtoon which this is sourced from.

Kids story we got in first 7 episodes was already way more then in source material and in future they are side characters to parents.

In present we will get more about relationship with parents then anything else and friendship between kids unless they change it and make it into romance.

Them taking time with each of these characters is making us care for them. Condensing the story doesn't have the same effect.

As to your question on why they decided to go that way with kids in initial few episodes I am gonna asume it's to bait in larger demographic and at same time create mystery with gaps that can be filled in later episodes.

Initial shift is probably surprising but I don't see there being issue in being able to follow episodes if they are fully dedicated to one story. It should actually make it very easy to follow.

Parents are the leads, kids are minor characters so in future you will only be disappointed if you expect major focus on kids again.

Well he was initially at the door so if you lose yourself and go into rage you will prob knock down the door not semi casually walk away and go around to take down the wall which takes way longer 🤣

It's very good show that I highly recommend and super powers are just element of the show.

Cinematography and story telling is top notch.

If I had to pick marvel then closest one this one is in terms of vibes and some direction is prob daredevil series especially later episodes. Ep11 definitely inspired by Oldboy.

Idk my mind is prob dirty and I found it funny because I imagined 2nd hand is somewhere else at same time based on his facial expressions.

I liked this one more because lines are more blurred and while we have comedy and dark stuff it still feels like we are warching one cohesive product.

In that other one scenes seem disjointed and out of place so it takes me out of the moment. It's not only constrast of slapstick comedy to tragedy but the whole way of how it is shot and handled with tone it feels like different genre. Imo murders and crimes in that show should be done in more dark comedy way not thriller/ crime show.

I had issue with show identity in that kdrama running rn where FL touches butts to have vision. The transitions of slapstick comedy to kidnapping/murder/ etc. was jarring af especially because the tone also completly shifted and didn't feel as one cohesive vision.

After seeing that show this one seems kinda fine in comparison as it blends genres better and I didn't feel that jarring transition but I am gonna asume it's gonna be mostly comedic at start and then later go little into melodrama combined with flashbacks.

It's to early to see if it will fall apart but atm it seems decent tho 1st episode wasn't anything special it's still better then I initially expected.
