Why are people even taking seriously random video of someone claiming they are famous artist when anyone could put on a mask and it's not even uploaded on his official channel or company or any of his social media.. if it worked like it did in drama then anyone can randomly make videos and all celebs would have issues all the time from random new account posting a video.

This show structure is written like those old kdramas that I didn't watch and enjoy and is the reason many people didn't like it.
Plot is not developed and neither are character so I couldn't care about them or resolve. This show only enjoyable thing is the hook they put in with the idols and their interactions but everything around it doesn't work and is done poorly. Stuff just happen because they need to happen for them to use the product they got paid so more then half of the show is written around them interacting and using sponsored items, rest come for some plot development that can tease drama for previews only to instantly get resolved next episode and we got nothing yet again. I won't keep going and pointing flaws but this is basically only good for eye candy and got inflated by idol fame.
As someone who works in the industry, just not kdramas, things in kdramas didn't get better out of nowhere. They followed the money and usual soaps just didn't produce enough anymore because viewership declined they decided to improve it. So improvement only comes mostly comes when the ratings are bad, profit is bad or public opinion declines over time so future product won't sell as much and revenue drops because sponsors will be harder to secure.
Another reason dramas got better and people like me started watching who didn't before because unlike cdrama that can work domestically because of sheer amount of people China has, S Korea needed to adapt for the worldwide and push to western market. That set different expectations, higher budgets and increased production values and quality of the shows produced while most cdramas are still same old crap because people will still watch it and they get huge money with low effort and just push out souless copy paste dramas because people keep watching.
So now when I see this drama that is on life support and carried by idols being in it despite many flaws I see regression in kdrama and not the future I want for kdrama that I cared to enjoy recently.
And then you will be here like 2 or 3 years from now when they produce more of these idol kdramas that have nothing going for them but actors and complain how kdramas got worse recently because only then you will see it for what they are when it's not the idol you like in it.
I don't mind idol being in it but that can't be the only thing going for it. These shows can still exsist and be enjoyed but I won't be singing praises or expecting good ratings for them.

It's not about me thinking it's crazy and you enjoying it but watching just because the idols you like are in and having no expectations and critical thinking if their performance may not be good or show having flaws is hurting the industry standards if you blindly support that. Sure you may not care but that is still what you ultimately objectively do. They will see it's commercial success and produce more shows focused around product placement and subpar writting and shove idols in if they can or can't perform best for role that is written for the story.

It's like 5-7 rating drama imo based on your tolerance of how much low effort writting you can consume and how many Ads you are willing to watch. Out of dramas I watched from last few years this one has the most obnoxious inclusion of ads where I can only asume plot was created to revolve around how they can put in their sponsor.
If you fast forward and skip to few good scenes then I guess it's worth watching because you won't waste much time. Tho I dropped it at episode 13 because I just couldn't care more about resolve or consume another ad centric plot, fake drama for previews and bad takes on divorces and other issues,..

It's just lazy plot hole. Episode 5 was by far the worst episode and her backstory with bulies was done badly and makes no sense to me. It was so unbelievably frustrating and bulies didn't feel like actual people but actors who play some caricatures and then whole fight sequence was wtf with bat, stabbings, rocks, etc .. like wtf ?? This is a school ffs and they go on her like they wanted to kill her. It made no sense because normal person would die long ago and they had no knowledge of her having powers yet they fought like they were in a movie fighting against super hero.
And don't give me bs that no video was spread of the fight.. that would be on the web instantly and of all those kids who got bullied someone would for sure want a revenge and get them all expelled so they have peace.
I hope the way bullies are potrayed in kdrama is not how it goes in their schools because that seems mental and the fact that teachers don't do much and classmates have no backbone and everyone is just fine with it makes me feel bad for Korean society.
