Well it's more noticable here then the usual I saw but I am fairly new kdrama watcher.

Sure ads are not new but in kdramas it's too intrusive and it even changes the plot and it's what ruins many potential good kdramas.

They fall apart in 2nd half on last third. Very large amount and it gets draggy because they are forced to backlog most plot resolve in finale.

You can see in pre produced kdramas such issues are very rare so plot doesn't suffer.

I wouldn't call this drama breath of fresh air. It's cliché on the other spectrum. Only thing carrying it is leads chemistry.

It's just writters being lazy and forcing things to happen. It was obviously only done to create drama u see at the table. You expected 2 much from writters 🤣

Its bait and switch. He most likely acts like he is with her just so he can get dirt on her or let her think she is getting good info on ML. That way she doesn't hire someone else and he can kinda spy on her.

I watched this show on 1.5 - 2x speed and skipped some stuff and have low expectations from it. If I went into this watching it seriously and expecting quality portrayed from very high score I would prob be disappointed af.

The way I watched it I got entertainment out of it without much frustration and I can watch it fast after I skip / fast forward almost half episode of ads.

Considering how this show is very big on including ton of sponsored stuff in I am gonna asume they gonna shove all answers in last episode where they can get more money from the sponsors.

The thing is ML blood it's not a cure, neither is ML heart. SML will still have the curse or illness. Even if he succeed.

Immortality just makes it irrelevant and he doesn't die. That is why he needs Immortality that vampire gets. If he becomes vampire illness doesn't effect him that's it.

I thought that was obvious.

Well there are atleast two with almost same premise and they vary a lot in chillness. Hopefully they found the right one.

It's so convenient that he got to see that video of him doing that and then instantly asume he is a half vampire and not some other supernatural being.

I asume it has something to do with FL father. He prob couldn't afford to keep the mansion and used gold so he doesn't lose it. There was also something about neighbourhood revamp but it wasn't done because owner of mansion didn't agree. He prob had to pay someone off.

Even getting pregnant while working is looked down on.. no wonder population is in decline. Korea has many issues.

Did number 3 fly away ?

Being "Not that bad" is not really a selling point

Well she only remember past lives because of the promise she made to get revange so since they went that route in the show it makes sense for her to forget past lives if curse is no longer in effect.

I think it's a nice change and she is willing to forget in order to save people she cares about and trust them enough that they will find her and include her back in their life.

Without her forgetting past lives it kinda falls flat and their is no drama or sacrifice to go off on.

I think you missed a key point of letting the past grudge go and moving on with your life.

I don't think you understand how real world works. Yes his sister is not a nice person and she could treat employees better but their company is not just their company and they have a board of people who invested into company and they expanded in 3 different big services not just hotel and created many jobs for the people. His sister is not really mistreating employers, some managment does. Sister is kinda indifferent to it as she is probably emotionally represed because she got disapointed by every relationship she had so she goes full on being CEO and pleasing the board because that was the consistant and successful thing in her life so she feels fulfilled by it.

Sentimental values and doing nice gestures is nice but in such big company and 3 branches ceo simply can not realistically connect to people. ML succeeded because it was written so in script but realistically employes wouldn't care to be paraded on some anniversary where suits rub their backs on how good they are and employes are there just to make them look good. ML did this as a nice gesture which is fine even tho it probably wouldn't be perceived that way but lets ignore that.

Speaking about ignoring, he completely ignored and did not please key investors and big names who grant them permitions and deals that make their airline margin prices managable. So what does that mean ? Ton of down sizing and reduced bonuses for employees. Now that employe that got their 5 min on stage will be really happy that he has potential to be fired or be afraid in future to work in financially unstable company that can go under at any time because of poor managment.

I am not saying that sister does not have lack of empathy but when she works with such big scale and based on her past you can understand her character and while she may not be nice, pleasing person atleast she creates jobs for people because she knows how to do deals with people in power and be a bridge. ML has no such experience and is unfit for CEO position and while his attempts for nice gestures is fine you can clearly see he is very biased and wastes resources and do nice gestures on rates that are not substainable long term for company budget. He also lacks any connections with key players and politicians and doesn't know how to deal with them and even actively provoke and displease them which is awful. He also doesn't have any communication or relationship with board members. He also has no experience or know-how in many other things CEO does which is mostly boring bureaucratic paperwork which he for sure would be miserable to do based on his past scenes. Just because he is unfit for ceo he can still be board member and owner and let his sister or outside hire be CEO.

I asume what this show will do is make both ML and sister work together in the end and will explain more for people who already don't get it why his sister is the way she is. That also can indicate how if ML was CEO would effect on his relationship. If he dedicated so much time for the company for everything to run smooth in all 3 branches, his relationship with FL would suffer and be basically non exsistant and he won't have any time. He will be prisoner to the work and be tied to the office and considering sister seeks fulfilment in that and it makes her happy it's perfect position for her. ML would be realistically miserable in that position, would have ruined his relationship and ruin company and lose ton of jobs.

So would you rather have a boss who does some nice things or would you prefer better paying and secure job so you can get loan and not be afraid if you have kids to lose a job ?

It's ok show that has many flaws but is still watchable. I think that being overly praised and rated highly gives very high expectations and this show doesn't even come close to meeting them.

If it was presented as average kdrama with good lead chemistry that makes it worth a watch with few skips or faster speed almost no one would have issues with it. Tho chemistry is good initially, relationship doesn't develop in any way and them randomly saying they love each other makes no sense so they just distract you and insert more random kisses.

And I agree about the ads. This show has so many ads and they are so in your face and annoying. They really take you out of the moment and they even made whole episode ad for tourism or whole long sections scenes exsist just for the ad and serve no purpose to the story. Not even clever tie to the script. It kinda feels like they first got ton of sponsors and made script around it because that would make sense why there is no story.

Also ML is awful for the company and abuses the company resources and position and does no work. He is only there because of nepotism and his sister is shown as a villain but she seems perfect for CEO. She is very bussiness focused, pragmatics and has good sense to make it all flow. She even spinned his ridiculous usage of helicopter into good PR. ML is idealistic clown and would cause so many jobs being lost and ruin company and bankrupt it if he was ceo or cfo. He has no experience to even be considered taking over and whole premise of him even being potential ceo is absurd. High managing some off hand branch is probably best case scenario where he won't hurt anyone and cause the least dmg to the company.

This review is the most confusing and conflicting thing I read recently. First 5 paragraphs made me lose hope then next ones you write some based takes about the show then lose me again with the end with the cringe.

This felt like it started out being written by a kid and then parent took over after 5th paragraph only for the kid to come back after parent was finished.
