This drama has nothing going on. Ep 3 was a snooze with no progress in storyline. KTL was atleast entertaining
FL is starting to reconnect and becoming friend with her sister
ML is opening up and changing his reclusive mind by going to her sister house to apologise which in this episode we found out he avoided her because he didnt wanna deal with emotions.
We found out her sister doesn't like ML and that it was a bait triangle.
We found out ML likes flowers that FL didn't recognise and it was claimed it's because he liked that person. Which is confusing to me.
We got backstories for side leads and 17th reincarnation.
We found out her father (19th reincarnation) is still searching her and she has brother. Prob gonna cause some bs later.
And some other minor things setting up for future.
It's 12 ep drama idk how much you want in 3rd episode. Its just overall well made in terms of production, acting, etc.
Watching it by far i have a question So yoon cho won likes ha do yoon as she said but why do i feel like there…
I don't think so. He is feeling bad because she is her sister. He doesn't want direct contact because she probably reminds him of sister so he avoids her. He still care for her and wanted to do nice things for her but by proxy so she doesn't know it was him. That way it's easier to keep distance. He even moved away and studied in different country to avoid dealing with emotions and to avoid her family. He also didn't wanna hire her to be near him but she faked name and surprised him. Now he feels bad and went to her house to apologise.

Wtf are you talking about ? It's very well made show.
I don't know what is up with these ktl comparisons but shows are completly different in every aspect other then running at same time and being about hotel tho ktl hotel is much more main focus then here.
As videographer who directed a few fashion shows I had colab with designers and models and most of them are not…
As someone who works in the industry I can tell you that reality shows are heavily scripted and many times footage is edited to create certain outlook.
Many times participants are paid even if they are not actors and some are there to create drama. Casting director specifically looks to combine specific types of people who will clash and create drama.
Game shows are prob closest to real but a lot of time heavily cut down and edited. Ignoring talent and singing ones those are some of the worst when it comes to manipulation and being very fake.
Excluding good documentaries tv series UnReal is prob very accurate representation of reality show behind the scenes.
Rights are sold to other media productions and countries so they pretty much all work the same.
Now for the fashion part maybe it's somewhat different in your parts but I speak from experience mostly in France, Italy and Germany, well europe in general tho I doubt it would be more intense in other parts then here and here it's not at all like in shows. Maybe New York is more brutal but I doubt anything stereotypical you usually see. The most intense I see them before the show starts and behind the curtain while it's going on. Do keep in mind that to do the show they had to work and prep for it for months and get the budget for it so ofc they are stressed af and prob more agitated.
You saved me from watching it. When I heard 2nd ml is being part of love triangle and possessive on top I was…
Well I asumed it would end like that but having person being 3rd wheel, annoying and ruining the vibe. It's just not enjoyable to watch and not experience I am looking for.
So in the beginning we start with a hot scene of Minho in action....and I believed this is how the relationships…
As videographer who directed a few fashion shows I had colab with designers and models and most of them are not like that. Most are actually very shy/timid and basically put on a persona when in public. Many models are also very insecure and popping pills.
When working and designing they are mostly in their element and quiet .
I guess some really big ones can be divas but that's mostly for the camera. Ofc there are some big ego sociopaths or narcissist ls but those can be found in every highly competitive field.
I would not look for accuracy in industry in kdrama. Fashion is not correctly represented and everyone just copy paste devil wears prada.
idk why there are so many negative comments. this was short, fun and sweet. a good watch if you just want to relax…
People can still not like it even with expectation of being light, fun and sweet. Maybe their expectation were not met or they didn't like characters, story, execution, etc.
For me for example it was instant pass after I heard about love triangle possesive 2nd ml.
i''m just pissed i didn't watch this drama before because i saw people on reddit saying i just hated the FL she's…
You saved me from watching it. When I heard 2nd ml is being part of love triangle and possessive on top I was out.. do people really like this that they keep making so many and ruin the whole thing..
I think his "insta recovery" is that he, as a true Criminal Mastermind™, has been faking the inability to move. But…
People who are in coma for 3 months can take up to a year to recover and more for full recovery. This mf running around and killing people like it's nothing. Muscle atrophy doesn't care for you being big brain or split personality. Him being in coma for years would take intense recovery process over long period of time for him to even go to the toilet on his own.
Even in less then a week long coma you lose up to 11% muscle mass per DAY so even in that case you would need 2 weeks to walk a little but get tired after few steps.
And no you can not recover in that room on it's own by laying in bed even if you got out of coma sooner then we thought.
coz people liked it...everyone's taste is different...its my all time fav drama n it makes me happy to rewatch…
Well maybe I come off more cold and critical when it comes to execution and production because I work as dop and sometimes as producer and director in video industry based in europe. I am fairly new to cdramas and I try to explore them to see what I like and learn from them and maybe integrate some aspects in our work. I started watching these dramas to learn but grew to like them. Only reason I had them on my radar is because lot of kdramas started focusing on western market because it's way better considering their local market smaller population. I enjoy many aspects of film making and I am open minded to watch stuff for new experiences and to grow. Coming out of this I started to like kdramas and enjoy them outside of it being as a work/research, etc. So I decided to try cdramas.
The most time effective way for me to check out stuff is based on some trusted user recommendations and scores. When I wrote this initially I was frustrated because I set my expectations high because of the score and was excited to see what many of these top rated cdramas have to offer. I found it fairly effective with kdramas but was very shocked with production value, budget to mal score ratio with cdramas. Scores are way more volatile and biased. Looking at my sheet data made with help of python from MDL api data you can easily see it has way higher score entries which is expected because of population but it's still way higher as ratio to expected audience. On top of that scores are way more volatile and extreme with 1s and 10s with way lower distribution in mean which usually evens out with more data but it's opposite here. It also implies there is some bot behavior / same fans made ton of accounts to manipulate ratings. Many times purely based on cast regardless of a show. So when I asked why so many mid show seems overrated I wasn't doing it as insult to someone who likes this show but more in general sense based on what I observed. You just really like story aspects and fell into 10 category because for you experience was so good and story resonated so hard you chose to ignore it's flaws. Which is fine but useless and has low value to me from critical stand point. You overall still contributed to this being over rated which achieved in more people watching this and ultimately many also being disappointed by the expectations like me.
Anyway I adjust my expectations based on budget and considering market and target audience I was disappointed but later found out why it's so offputing, mainly because it's purely made and milked for local audience. I researched more into their production and way of doing stuff and understood why I will in most cases not like cdramas. Considering this show had premise that I liked and is based around game that I played like 10 years ago, esports that I sometimes watched I simply couldn't enjoy it because execution was wrong or subpar. I would probably enjoy it fine if I had very surface level knowledge about the subject but I don't so it was very distracting and I had to drop it. I didn't even rate this show.
I understand how idols, new faces and all that work after I researched it a little but if you are gonna try out new face on a show director has to really believe in their acting to give them one of the key leading roles. I would expect to give new actor who can barely act few side roles or maybe low budget show to test them out. It only ever makes sense to put them in such big productions if they are idols and it's only done because of colab and money making and ignores possible negatives. I don't know celebrities or idols from china apart from the few ones who breached to western space so if they put in some idol who can't act I don't care about them, all I see is them ruining scenes.
I find cdrama production overall lacking and hope they improve in future. They are milking local audience for huge profit margins and could easly invest considering how big China is. I just find it overall disappointing considering chinese movie cinematography is great and there is and was a lot of talent and amazing people but sadly cdramas are just lacking and could do better if they weren't greedy and restricted. Wish they evolved like recent kdramas did but they don't because they can survive and thrive with established domestic market while doing bare minimum.
if a white actor paints his face black to play a black character in a film or show, its bad. in fact its wrong,…
Well if you are gonna listen to every person who say you can't act as person you are not then you are gonna end up with randoms who fit the part but can't act. The point of the actor is to act ffs not just play themselfs. I am fine with actor acting anyone if they are good for the job with the exception of race thing.
You gave examples like rain main, sheldon and Shaun from good doctor as bad stereotypes but how would hiring autistic actor change that show ? It was written and works only because they are shown to have such savant abilities. If they hired actor on a spectrum it would be the same show if that actor foloowed the script and direction.
Reading your last paragraph and ending statements you seem to have an issue how story and neurotypicals in shows are written and not who acts them, and I agreee with you on that but producers in main stream go for the safe route which is mostly savant main character or side autistic character you can pity because writting anything else would be too complex and risky and producers prob wouldn't approve it. So it needs to be first shown to work in short film or documentary and be trend that people care about for them to risk doing it.
coz people liked it...everyone's taste is different...its my all time fav drama n it makes me happy to rewatch…
People don't need to respect everyone random stranger opinion especially if its baseless and has no objective statements or in your case no statements at all. There is not much to go on when you have so little information about person giving out opinion but ironically someone giving this high rating is making me respect their opinion less and I am not saying you can't like this show but you didn't give any reason as to why this show is great. You just said it's you fav drama and that people should respect you for that. Why ? You gave us no reason and you gave no justifications to change our minds. I mainly criticised this drama for wooden bad acting, incorrect representation of gaming / esports, bad production and sound design. I didn't even touch on subjective stuff but for those objective reasons I listed alone it's not a perfect 10. Just because you like something doesn't mean you can't criticise it and see where it can be improved and see that it's not a perfect show. I enjoyed many shows I gave a 6 despite their flaws but your inability to be critical to content you like is the reason people don't respect your opinion.
if a white actor paints his face black to play a black character in a film or show, its bad. in fact its wrong,…
You trying to go for the race card tells me you have no arguments to debate on why it shouldn't be like this. I was willing to see what you have to say and you disapoint me with this response.
Give me some actual arguments not black face bs..
They hire actor who has following to get viewership in combination of their budget and acting performance. Considering kdramas also just hire idols they sometimes just care about their fame to push their product. I don't know that much about korea but I doubt there is any autistic actress who they would hire as main role because production wouldn't green light it unless she had massive following.
If you would ask any random person to name one autistic actress in general, not Korean, they wouldn't know to name anyone. So I wouldn't have any expectation Korean small pool of actresses and their kdrama format, production, marketing and idol obsession limitations that come with it to find and put autistic actress to play main role in series.
Only production I know that had autistic main actress was everything's gonna be okay 2020 series and it didn't make it any better or worse as a show as whole for doing so.
What I am trying to say is it doesn't matter because if they used autistic actress in attorney woo it would still be same writting and you would still dislike same stuff you pointed out in review. So it would ultimately result in same product and they would make less money and you still wouldn't like it.

You do have to be 18+ to use uber app for example but no one really checks your age. You are breaking Uber TOS then.
So in worst case you break app tos but not actual law if app was used and has age restrictions. Otherwise without app or restrictions it's fine.
