This show is what happens when you give a ton of money to someone who doesn't know how to utilise it and make something worth watching. What an absolute waste..

The only good thing about this show were side couple and they actually fit the theme they were trying to do with ordinary people.

There is triangle in side couple story with intern who tries to be with sml, triangle with ex gf of ml and triangle with fl and guy who is simp af and offputing. Out of those the one with fl and simp is the only one that bothered me.

Most of cdrama is dubbed even when its the same actor speaking because they don't sound proof locations and get awful audio. So lip sync can be bad many times and people talking can sound sterile. Most of the time they do it by putting in voice actors who speak dialect they need so its not even person who acts. Its actually one of the main reasons I can't watch many of them because it really bothers me.

Well I only tried watching few popular recommended stuff and got very disappointed but those two you mentioned seem more promising then anything I tried watching in the past.

Would love to hear some of the cdramas you recommend because I find it hard to get into them or like finding the good ones.

I didn't miss those tags I went into this show expecting this and got disappointed by what they made. I only pointed this out because you said this is a romcom which its not. I am very confused by you and I am kinda starting to think that you are misunderstanding me.

Anyway I am not insulted by this show I just disliked execution, characterisation and writting.

Idk this is tagged as mature drama and sexual education and not romcom. They also try to portray sexual physical relationship but it was all about soul mate bs. So they can't even stick to the core theme they set. Learning sex ed from this is definitely not what I would recommend.

I am sad to see people can't see this fake female empowerment, double standard show that wanna make sex mature show and can't take casual sex and not mix it with love and soul mates. They can't stick to their subject and are all over the place. These unrealistically written characters so they can move the plot and fit the story are insult to viewers intelligence.

They put in softcore porn of stand-in actors and people turn off brain and eat this up I guess. You can like this and enjoy it for some aspects but don't tell me to praise writters for this mediocre mess.

Yeah he had to ask her and basically try to make it work that is why I said she got thrown mr perfect guy which just enabled her flaws and she had no growth and didn't learn to deal with such issues in realistic relationships. The main issue her first relationship didn't work is because of communication and if ML wasn't written basically to serve all her needs and deal with her flaws she would be in another miserable relationship.

This show just does damage to young girls who watch this and set expectations based on this garbage of a show where they can't even write a few episodes.

Well they just wrote her bf as complete dickhead so it would be hard to salvage that but its totally fine if she broke up with her bf because she couldn't salvage relationship it's just that execution and him as character was done unrealistically and could be written better.

Let's say that they wrote it better and still decided for them to break up it's still awful because FL was also big part why that relationship was bad and didn't work and she didn't grew or solve any of her issues, and in normal realistic relationship she would eventually end up with same issues she had with bf she broke up with.

Sure I still din't like many kdramas that are highly rated but I could still see they were well produced and good for targeted audience. Also at this scale and high rating you expect even non targeted audience to have some appreciation.

But when lead can't even act and many other production aspects are awful it's baffling seeing it sit so high. From my observation this is more common for cdramas and it's expected considering longer stretched out format and constrains.

Game basically works just like League of Legends and tournaments are emulation of esport scene. In this show its downscaled and they use generic chinese mobile game clone which is emulated to pc or has some cross platform client. I asume this is done due to licencing cost and the fact that riot games would prob sue them if they represented game in show.

I would like to point out that actual game footage is when camera is from isometric top down perspective. Any other 3d footage are inserts for drama and do not happen in game. If you wanna understand the game you can google "moba rules" or watch league of legends beginner guide. Moba is genre of these type of games and originates from warcraft 3 mod dota.

I am european and cinematographer by profession so I am prob more critical and cynical person when it comes to this. I am used to western media and there is also lot of mediocre stuff produced here but it's jarring and unexpected from high ranked shows. Now I watch ton of different stuff because I am interested in all sorts of film making and I sometimes study some to better myself. I started watching kdramas as guilty pleasure and have set lower expectations but I must say that many kdramas in recent years improved a lot in all aspects but I can't say the same for cdramas. I am trying to get into cdramas but have hard time with many aspects of it. From what I observed I find many cdramas similar to turkish dramas or telenovelas which I personally find just mindless noise and of little value. Now ofc some are elevated but most just seem like generic stretched out script where they changed character names and they just produce generally the same thing and just shoot stuff like mindless drones. Many cdramas are also dubbed because most actors can't act and learn dialect used by voice actors so basically many cdramas just feel disconected to me when that happens. Every prob starts to sound the same because they reuse same voice actors all the time and then there are some who also dub themselfs because in cdramas they don't sound proof sets. Overall sound design is the most lacking aspect in many cdramas so it all just feels off and amateurish.

I liked what they did with kdramas. They reduced episodes so quality can be higher and some are even pre produced or semi pre produced so it doesn't fall apart in last 1/3 when they adapt script on the go and are rushed by time. Now this won't happen for cdramas because china is big market and doesn't care about outside traffic. They can stretch out ton of episodes for cheap and make ton of profit domestically while kdramas are going more for western market.

Anyway to answer your game questions. Why do they circle on spot when hidding ? Well that's called juking and you do it to reduce the odds of getting hit by skill shots. It's also nice way to keep apm (action per minute) high so your fingers are ready. How do they spin ? I don't know what exactly you mean but if you mean moving around then the answer is right click on spot you wanna go to ingame. If you mean actually standing still and character rotating around then they just click fast around the character to spin, this is pointless to do but fun I guess. Running towards base and is speed limited ? In game you have roster of characters and each one has set speed. Once you click to spot on the map you will move to it at consistant same speed unless that character has some sort of passive ability or item that increases speed like boots. Some characters also have dashes and teleports you can do in-between to reduce the time to get where you want. And no being better gamer and staring in screen intensly and clicking like crazy won't make it go any faster. Also do keep in mind that going solo in base to finish the game won't really happen in pro game. It happens vs low ranked players because they are not organized or they feed you and you got way over lvled and got ton of items. Playing in tournaments where players know what they are doing and are kinda even matched stuff like this won't happen, well games shown in this drama in general are nowhere close to pro esports lvl.

The funny thing even as flawed as it is the games they play and tournament stuff is the best part of the show. Other stuff is just wooden acting and over dramatic bs.

this review is based af. I disliked toxic relationships in this drama but what I disliked more is that show presents it as something normal and tries to justify it.

I hated 2d ml. He was so hard to watch being abusive, jealous, overall so toxic but many characters in this show were really awful people for no reason. The worst thing is that its kinda normalized and accepted behavior and in the end they just brush it all up and everyone is together. Thats just crazy to me.

What I am saying is simply that you can like theme and enjoy a show but still see many flaws in production, execution, acting, etc. Just because I liked 1 or 2 aspects I am not like wow that's a 10.

I enjoyed many shows with flaw and gave them like 6 or 7 but here it's like its either a 10 or 1.

That is just my opinion and in cdramas scores seem to be more inflated compared to others and all over the place.

I never wanted to drop kdrama that was scored over 8 on ep 1 but with many cdramas some niche and mediocre stuff is rated higher in comparison.

Basically I am just flustrated looking for very well produced and acted cdrama and it's harder to find when it's so deluted with mediocre stuff even at high ratings.

2nd ml makes this unwatchable

Because plot needed that to happen. Don't give writters too much credit to come up with a reason.
