Story is weak. Performances aren't particularly strong. The female lead has this cute look going for her and if she works I think she'll be a good actor. The male lead was stone faced, boring but maybe that's what he was told to be.
It's okay but if you find it boring it doesn't get much better.
The first lets say ~12 episodes the female lead is pretty brutal towards the male lead and despite this the male lead makes it hard to be sympathetic for him.
But if you can manage past that slog you'll get to a better place where they trust and rely on each other. They have some surprisingly mature conversations. Their friends tip them off if the female lead or male lead is struggling or needs reassurance.
The drama isn't super strong by any means and those first 12 episodes are rough. But once you move past that it's decent.
I see below and had read she signed with an agency and might be looking to break back into the acting scene. I hope she does stuff. Loved her in Marriage, Not Dating
I feel like the cast did good enough they should get more roles. The only one who was a bit suspect was the male lead but his role is essentially shy-guy who isn't overly emotional so it's not like the actor had much to work with.
Yes, the main focus and story of the show is on romance and there will be kisses though I forget how many and…
I would say within the first 40 minutes you realize who is destined to be together and who has feelings for who.
There is plenty of romance beyond that. The first ~60 minutes is a lot of angst between one of the pairings but you can tell they care about each other and then the last ~120 minutes or however long it is the leads have kissing and g-rated sex scene here or there.
There is jealousy and stuff - remember they swap faces and only they know while others suspect.
Yes, the main focus and story of the show is on romance and there will be kisses though I forget how many and between who. If you want ~2-3 hours of romance with an ancient Chinese costume drama you can't go wrong with this.
The nonromance plot is essentially the swapped identities as you can read from the synopsis.
1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
1) I mean I guess a slight one? The show starts with the male lead uninterested in anyone, the popular highschool girl has a crush on him. She's never really an option to him. 2) It's pretty clear they like each other by Episode 4-5, by the end of Episode 7 I would say they are 'together' but they kiss for the first time in episode 10. 3) No. Just a meddling mother and of course the popular highschool girl who the male lead's mother likes. 4) Yeah. Comments below talk about romance being the main plot and I understand them but it's not really a plot to me. It's just moments between the leads where they're cute or crushing on each other. And it ends with them walking down a sidewalk happy and together. At the end of the day they are two highschool students unsure about their futures. It is an open and happy ending.
Why, when I do a search for ANYTHING this is always the one in the first slot in my results? When I click on it…
It's a sponsorship with My Drama List in all likelihood. This new streaming website pays money to MDL and MDL puts it at the top of the search.
It seems it's a Hong Kong TV broadcaster that is trying to expand into America and target non-Cantonese audiences in addition to its traditional Cantonese audience.
I will say two things though:
I'm not a fan of trying to make the sponsored ads look like an MDL entry and instead taking me to their website unprompted.
I'm not a fan of getting this as a paying member on the website.
Kind of a tangent but the interesting thing to me about the webtoons was they often came out with collectible stuff. I remember seeing lanyards(?) for Business Proposal as an example.
If only I knew where to follow this stuff. I'm not super interested in reading webtoons but the idea of getting a collectible item sounds cool. I collect Pokemon stuff for example. I have a couple of posters and toys. The idea of doing the same with an interesting webtoon concept would be cool.
You can tell the writers weren't too sure how to redeem Yu Na and Soo Jae together and it just comes across as awkward. She spills the beans so Soo Jae doesn't really get character growth and instead he's just the same whiny brat as before.
My opinion is that Yu Na and Jung Hoo should end up together and they should allow Soo Jae to grow as a character and end up with a different girl. But the show won't throw us a curveball like that.

That way I can filter "I only want episodes between 25 minutes and 45 minutes" or something and avoid these short dramas.

That being said I did enjoy this show.

Crystal Zhang is also amazing though. Been following her since Go Princess Go where I thought she was great.
I wish we'd get a date. I have been waiting for 9 months.
