Great watch overall.
The show pulls you in fast—right from the first episode, it’s got energy. The whole concept of a team hunting down evil spirits while juggling their own trauma and issues is cool, and it’s done well. There’s a good mix of action, heart, and mystery, and most episodes leave you wanting to keep going.
That said, I had a bit of a hard time with the main character. He kind of felt like your typical “chosen one” setup—gets powers out of nowhere, suddenly stronger than everyone else, and the show doesn’t explain it in a satisfying way. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it made his arc feel less earned sometimes.
But where the show really shines is the action. The fight scenes are slick and fun to watch—not overdone, but intense when they need to be. The choreography, the sound, the pacing—it all works. And thankfully, the show doesn’t just rely on fighting. There’s real emotion in the characters and their stories, especially the side characters. You actually care about them.
There are a few cheesy moments here and there, and the tone can jump around a bit—serious one minute, goofy the next—but it never lost me. The main plot has just enough weight and mystery to keep you hooked through all the ups and downs.
Definitely worth watching. Not perfect, but it knows what it is and does a good job delivering it.
