At the starting sequence of drama when FL was explaining the new teacher about consultations for new admissions, the newbie said something about increasing proficiency in korean being a language subject by reading more books and analysing paragraphs FL said that to get more parents to come to them they have to generate fear in parents by asking them tough questions and not giving them advice on their children reading more books. A language subject should not have anything like rote memorization but FL actively promoted memorizing option for multiple choices to pass exam instead of trying read and get in-depth understanding of the subject. When the student marked the wrong answer she tutored the kid to convey to the school teacher that both option could be correct but the student who didn't have a deep understanding of language failed and FL had to personally intervene.

No @Molly03 it was directed at me. As for my comments people get annoyed by increasing list of critical commentary when the drama has not even aired properly and is into its second episode. So yes if people can be critical of anything under the sun you can't expect no pushback.
I loved the first episode. Mature content with tons of intricacies. Especially the scene of Korean teacher agreeing to be wrong and basically ready to be a villian just for his pride in his job, FL explaining the whole exploitation model of hagwons to the newbie in the first scene and then feeling guilty when getting called out to be a parasite and then handling the parents and kids with maturity. ML wanting to live in Gangnam and explaining the whole south korea broken real estate i.e. jeonse. Interaction between ML and FL were so good.
P.s. - Snowflakes should stay far away from this drama and stop criticizing everything after just one episode. This isn't the lovey dovey drama which you guys want try watching other ones like Lovely Runner or something.
This turned shi*ty real fast just because of one new character of ML's ex-fiancee. Why can't people stay true to source material which made the original popular ! 😑
Still not recovered enough to re-watch this drama after watching it when it was airing. This drama broke something in me. I hope to recover soon to watch this again.
Maybe I am wrong but ML's plastic surgery seems to have gone horribly wrong right around the eyes & nose bridge. Make him look like a serial killer when he smiles. He looked far better in Happiness.

No I don't think he inferred Dusik as FL upto the point when he went to FL's primary school. He did find whole Dusik matter suspicious as he was actively looking for anything unusual. He did found out that whole Dusik and her father's murder matter was similar to his current case. Maybe in next episodes we will find out the connecting factor between both cases and the real culprit.

SML got to know about Dusik which no one wants to talk about and are actively hiding. And he did found out about the scandal from news clippings of 20 years ago when he was "wasting time" ,watch the whole episode again.

FL father's case is similar in aspects of match fixing and gambling with added death comapred to the present case. He was searching for what was really wrong in the village. If no one wants to talk about a single individual i.e. Dusik he would surely try to find out. What are the chances two cases are connected? If FL was honest about what really happened 20 years ago he wouldn't have tried to found out about it himself.
Also one of top funny scenes, when those condoms were in the air lol 😂
