Great drama with a great cast!

Their chemistry is great!

I just finished watching episode 13, and enjoying every episode so far. This drama is well made and the casting is perfect! Very interesting and high quality drama!

Yes, two thumbs up for both the FL and the little girl character. It was the most suspenseful and sad episode so far!

I can’t wait t see this drama!

Yes, now I remembered, the ML turned 18 when he became the head teacher and the FL became his student. Then, 2 years later, they fell in love…..so, the ML must have been 20 and the FL probably was 16. A very young couple!

When in doubt, you should try watching the drama, and see it for yourself. The drama was beautifully done and the love story was so innocent and romantic ( probably because they were supposed to be so young and naive). I’m an old lady, but I enjoyed it very much.

I’m guessing because the setting of this drama was in ancient time……..and the story was 100 % fantasy!

I really thought the FL character did an excellent job of portraying a childish early teenager (supposedly 13 years old) then growing up to be a more mature 15-16 years old princess who would fall in love with the ML character and became a strong warrior to defend the evil force. I liked her just as much as the ML character, and in my opinion, the story was based on her life, even though the ML character’s scenes were more highlighted.

I totally agree with you. I really liked Ren Min’s acting and her look in this drama. I thought she played the role of Zhu Yan perfectly. Zhu Yan’s childish , naive , silly behavior toward Shi Ying was what made their relationship so romantic!

I’m looking forward to this new drama by Ren Min. I think she is a great talent and beautiful actress. She looks so different in each character that she plays and her transformation is amazing.

This cover poster caught my eye in the beginning of the drama. Shi Ying’s expression was so peaceful and gentle! And, the little Zhu Yan on the bottom was so adorable!

The beautiful cinematography was very impressive!

I loved this scene. It was so romantic, especially when Zhu Yan’s tears were coming down while Shi Ying was kissing her.
