These comments contain a lot of useless prattle, I almost missed out on watching this, so here are the salient facts about this show:
1. FL Oh Yeon Seo is smoking hot and kicks ass, like an unstoppable ass kicking machine. If ass kicking machines were smoking hot, the smokingest hottestest of them might aspire to be as smoking hot as the FL but they would always fall short. She is like a younger version of Kim Hee Sun. If you don't know who that is, go and stand in a corner and beat yourself with a stick until it occurs to you that your time would be better spent finding out who that is and then worshipping her forever.
2. ML is obnoxiously handsome but, rarely for a K drama, not actually obnoxious. Well, still kinda obnoxious but in a comedic way. Not quite as loveable as Lee Dong Wook but eh who is? Definitely much less obnoxious than the average K drama ML who might as well be a bowl of cold porridge in a suit.
3. It's pretty funny.
4. Kang Mi Na is also gorgeous and a super cutie and anyone who disagrees is broken in the head.
The way y'all would've caught my attention by calling it standard makjang k-drama bc I haven't seen any drama…
The 2 most common types of MLs seem to be "charisma of a wooden plank," or "so utterly obnoxious we'll make him an alien/goblin/psycho/etc. to try and explain away the awfulness" - but I watch K dramas for the awesome women :D
