I was actually glad to see the actress lose the wig. I think she could have a more flattering hair style, but the wig drove me nuts.

There are some times when it seems like they are dubbed and some times when it seems like they aren't because of the sound quality. So they might have situations where they are dubbed, but the actors are the ones doing the voices. But you never know, so it would probably be something that needed to be looked up.

Boys Over Flowers was one of my first dramas, and so far, overall I like this version so much better.

I hope it is true too, because I HATE that part of the drama. It it one of my most hated story mechanics in any drama. So I will be so happy if they left it out. Curious to see what they do instead though, if they do.

I believe they already did that in the beginning of the series, and he only fakes it for a moment. But they are talking about in the original he actually gets amnesia for a couple of episodes right at the very end.

Yup, it is in every version. So it isn't just the writing in this one. There are so many times they break up and get back together, it is a crazy.

The only other version I have seen was BoF, and everybody thought the dad was dead in that one, when it turned out he was actually just in a coma. Good ol' kdrama twist, lol.

I have no idea which direction this one is going to take it. I am just hoping they leave out the amnesia part towards the end, that sucked so bad in BoF, but I don't know if it was part of the original manga or not.

I will say that I am forever thankful for who ever decided to do DMS's hair after seeing the mop that passed for Lee Min Ho's hair in BoF. It will forever be iconic of the drama, sort of like his sweaters from Heirs, but the man needs a better stylist for dramas.

This is something that came up in the last couple of episodes that confused me. I had always thought that his dad supposedly died when he was young, which is why is mom was gone so much. Even though he said he lived in London for a while. And that his sister raised him.

But in the recent episodes Mrs. Yu told Shancai that his dad died in high school, which is when his mom turned cold, and his sister had to deal with things from her mom. It kind of threw me, because that time line didn't fit at all with everything else that had already been said.

Did I miss something in Mrs. Yu's explanation or did the timeline get messed up somewhere with her.

That was my first thought too when I heard her call her grandma. Every other drama I have ever seen her in, she was a mother.
