Ep 20 plot is new to me, a new character that would probably extend the series to 36 episodes. I feel really sad they botched up this novel, these actors are really good but they have to act what they are given, Hence the confusion we watch each episode!

I Read the Novel last week and I loved it. If the script writer and director had followed the novel to a T, we would have been blown away! Shi Yan and Shu Yi were the only couple, these extra 4 couples were not in the novel or needed. I know Shi Yan didn’t talk a lot but when he did, I loved his comebacks! This series is suppose to get better after he found out the truth, i’l wait till all is revealed before coming back. Let me focus on Story of Kunning Palace!
