Ok, still doesn't change my original comment. And omg, you can even rate any series on mdl and other similar websites before it ends. I must be crazy to find an unfinished series mediocre. Geez.
Finally watched the whole show and man, this series was such a waste of budget and potential. They got so many famous actors to play support characters but it all was a waste because of the slow-motion speech. They had a whole crew of people, how could no one not point it out? Because of the director's attitude? Judging from his tweets, he doesn't seem to take well on critics.
The trailer was meh. And they didn't even try to cast people who actually fit the characters, at least for the main couple. And the female villain in BL is an outdated trope (girl didn't even exist in the book).
It's not bad but it reminds me of the 5-7 ratings CN romcom where they like to overcomplicate stuff and the male lead is often a rich /cold CEO while the female has the opposite characteristics or something like that.

A lot of BL series with clear uke/seme roles are often the same as Thai hetero dramas, where the female often act like they don't wanna be touched, the male then would be a little forceful and the female would get carried along. They should ditch this kinda trope.
