I swear CN dramas really like to complicate something simple. He could've just told the sister the truth instead of paying all that money to her cheating husband. She's a grown-ass woman and will get over it one day instead of being left hanging. And the fact that this drama got 8.2 makes no sense to me.
I like Gun but his acting needs improvement, especially on emotional scenes. I was straight out laughing at his angry expressions. I don't know why the director didn't point it out. Still nice series though,
The trailer looked amazing but the movie itself was...Not good. They totally wasted these actors. Especially Ae Ran, removing her wouldn't make a difference in the movie.
Why kdramas like to make this kind of annoying female lead anyway? Self-righteous, always think they're right but can't even do their job properly without help from the guys they look down on. Fortunately, her character development is nicely done.
But to be honest, I find Hong Cha Young's character kinda cringy. And there are so many plotholes if you think about it. But I like Hanseo though, too bad that he had to die, Vincenzo clearly had the opportunity to step in and give him a hand during the fight with Hnaseok. I don't get it lol.
It wasn't method acting or anything like that. Teh and Jai are a-holes. There wasn't even a kiss in Jai's script. Sure, Teh was manipulated tricked/manipulated but that's not an excuse to cheat. I think this also makes more sense than method acting excuse. You find someone who seems to understand you and shares the same passion. You got carried away and cheated. That's very realistic.
7/10 from me, it has a great start but began to fall near the end. The drama is from 2013 and I would have probably given it a higher score if I watched it back then but these days there are many dramas of the same style but far better than this one. And there are just so many things that don't make sense if you think about it.
