Only nostalgia
The series is objectively speaking bad . The setting is the same old college, with the same group of funny/ teasing / overacting friends.The plot is boring and very common, the only different additional plot points being internalised homophobia.
The saving grace of the show was definitely the acting. Mew and Gulf had chemistry with eachother and also with the other actors. But I think the reason this show is rated so high is just because of the nostalgia this series has for bl watchers ( or just the fans of the actors)
