A show with a lot of potential but a bit boring midway, tho the casting is excellent, no doubt about that. It is promising, but not what you expect.
On a side note, Lee Sung Kyung is beautiful. <3
Pretty much does the job for entering the world of dramas. Since it was my first one, it is special to me. Even though i don't heavily recommend it, but it has its moments.
"Detectives from the present and a detective from the past communicate via walkie-talkie to solve long-time unsolved cases whose statute of limitations have already expired." Okay, yes, it is a little bit stupid but give its pilot a shot. I'm pretty sure you'll love it. There are few things which remains unexplained, like how does that walkie-talkie works and stuff. It is a bit stupid to see how little the present is affected when the past is changed but that's all. It is an excellent detective series coming from the standards of K-Drama. The story will really pique your interest, even some of the cases have been inspired by infamous serial killings in the history of South Korea. The actors have actually lived their characters, the contrast shown in the past and present is wonderful, and the screenplay is one of the best I've seen. Complete series with 16 episodes, do give it a try.
Mainly a testosterone battle between Kim Tan and Choi Young Do as they fight over a girl. Being full of cliches, it still is enjoyable. The amount of screen time to all the characters and their connections is handled pretty well. I won't say it's anything great but not bad either. The side characters make the show really worthwhile. Out of all, Kim Woo Bin's character had the most development and became really likeable towards the end. To sum it up, it is about young rich kids in one school, being jerks to each other with a nice but poor girl thrown in between and slowly developing relationships; so if you're a fan of high-school melodrama romance, give it a try. If not, leave it. Btw americans are simply painful to watch in it, lmao.
Adorable <3 Totally different from usual canonical dramas. In short, the show offers the experience of how wonderful the life can be, and the charms of being in a relationship. Every episode being so pure, transparent and honest that you rediscover the joy to enjoy and smile at small yet beautiful things.
More or less, it's about how our main female lead, Kim Bok-Joo, a weightlifter, falls in love. It's great to see the lead couple together with acting so natural and effortless, the you end up rooting for them more than anyone. The secondary performances are charming, providing a lot of funny moments as well. Ah, it feels great to enjoy something exceptional like this with such genuine comedy and optimistic theme without any cheesiness. In conclusion, it is a drama that everyone should watch once in a while given that it is very much refreshing and gives a shot of positive energy by the end.
