There is something i have been thinking about remember president park said when KSH would wake she won’t remain…
She isn't acting differently. From the beginning killing HTS was never in KSH's plans, and the boy knows that her intention was always to save KSH (he was there, when she urgently needed to go to that busan conference) Sun is just too stubborn to accept this. How many times does she need to say she'll stay? Yet his jealousy takes him to say it's better to kill HTS now.
So far I'm loving this show. It's too early to rate it or leave a review, but what I can say is this: this is not a show where you need to shut down your brain, as many people have complained here before. Instead, this drama is giving us pieces of the puzzle that are slowly starting to take form. It's sci-fi, too, and time-travel and probably alternative universes, and there's never something realistic about any of that. Haters are going to have, and god knows Park Shin Hye has enough of those, but I totally recommend anyone to give a try to this drama because both PSH and Choi Seung Woo are nailing this, band their chemistry is amazing.
I don't want to write an essay, other people already have. But I really don't agree with this. If we follow this…
I kdrama, though, kissing scenes or intimate actions usually serve a purpose. What the writer was pointing was that, most of the times, shirtless scenes are just for the eye candy, there's no reason for us to see the character taking a shower or changing clothes... or is he crying on the shower? Is he suddenly having a "transformation" like female characters often do? just like I find it uncomfortable if the camera focuses too much on women's bodies just for the male view, it is also not okay when it works the other way around.
I like how DH is a tiny bit more perceptive and quick witted here than in the novel. In the series, he was able…
I think they made a lot of chages to make the couple more likeable. For example, here he never gave Feng Jiu to be Ye Qing Ti's wife, as happened it the book.
Why would their love be deep in the mortal realm? FJ is just trying to get him through the trial so she can go…
Exactly, this part of the story would not even matter if it wasn't for Qing Ti's existence and relevance to the plot in the future. Feng Jiu and Dong Hua's romance in the books was all about their time in the Valley and in the dream, it's frustrating that they spent so much time in this extra arc.
I just finished ep 11, and though the first chapters with Feng Jiu as a fox were a bit boring (as I knew they would be) I think the show is managing to capture the essence of the story. Everytime they meet Dong Hua is attracted to Feng Jiu in some way or another, yet they never meet in the right circumstances, that's seriously lack of fate. Oh, and I'm getting serious Second Lead Symdrome with General Ye, as I knew it would happen if we just had more info about that life in the book.
I think this drama is not for everyone. I've read a lot of people complaining that it wasn't a happy ending, or that the rules were not clear or explained. However, I think it was something logical that Dan Oh and Haru didn't win at the end, as it was becoming clear that their will wasn't enough to win over the writer. Even the Dried Squid Fairy's presence was to prove this, but as we liked these characters we still wished something better for them. It was tragic, but them meeting again and recognizing each other once more is already the only kind of happiness our beloved characters can get.
I'm saying they chose the wrong words to express they shouldn't say smashed Kpop's clean-cut facade like it gives…
I think that in this particular case the author of the article had a good intention, but it just proves it is very difficult to escape from thinking in certain terms when we live in a mysoninistic culture.
I was thinking about this, too. It seems the author took it out of context or didn't read the article that's why...
Oh, I read it again. You're right. I didn't even realize it the first time because the other paragraphs were actually saying nice things. Even if the article tries to speak positively about her, it still falls into the same old thing of judging women... Thanks for pointing it out.
As someone from South America, I think whatever I say will hardly reach these bullies in South Korea. However, I have lost count of how many times I saw the say horrible words in any post, in English or Spanish, from people who follows certain artists and seem to be eager to criticise and hate on actresses and singers. I have also to point out that most of the hate is always directed to female artists, and is most often done by other women. Before we make any negative comments about someone, please let's think carefully about our words. Why do people feel entitled to insult someone they don't even know IRL? Let's train our emphaty at every turn, perhaps if we do we can at least change a bit this hate-culture and turn it into something positive one day.
From my understanding, it is pretty much like the book except the real world is a bit different from the book.
I think we have to wait and see if it's really like it says in the synopsis, that he's forgotten love. There are many times when the synopsis are misleading and from what we could see of the behind the scenes, they are following the book very closely.
I am a big fan of Park Shin Hye, but I completely agree with you. Her character was written in a very poor way, and the romance suffered because of it. But I realized this also happened with female characters in the other shows writen by this screewriter, and in the case of Memories of the Alhambra besides the Main Lead, no one else got much development...
this misunderstanding in this drama is way anthor level me too i dropped sometimes i was like speak tell him tell…
I noticed this happens in many other dramas, but the violence is not that explicit. Maybe I'm getting older, but I worry that people see this and finds it romantic. Where is Yi Chen the "most perfect male character"?
or is he crying on the shower? Is he suddenly having a "transformation" like female characters often do?
just like I find it uncomfortable if the camera focuses too much on women's bodies just for the male view, it is also not okay when it works the other way around.
