Is The Untamed realy a definite Xianxia thou? I feel it leans more towards being a Wuxia lol

Xianxia drama isn't really my thing I guess
I try to watch them but i cant really take them seriously so in the the end i deviate towards wuxia :0

The drama I saw certainly episodic-ish , but I’d watch the first season if I were you :))
The first season is a delight to watch, it surely deserves a chance :p
