I just finished this drama and can conclude that the best thing about it was the manager Seo Ji Hyang... the second lead couple was absolutely horrible and had me skipping A LOT... The lead couple was okay (okay, maybe a bit better than that, they were cute, I'm just disappointed) but I think the other characters and the way the story progressed overshadowed the potential of the romance between the leads as well as the overall story.... If you like dramas filled with clichés, I'd say give it a go
omg! I relate so bad to the ptw and books on bookshelves! I had the same problem. Now I just decided to go shelve…
It makes me somewhat relieved that I'm not the only one, but at the same time I'm sad that you're experiencing the problem... But it seems like you've found a method that works great for you! Maybe I should try it too c: Oh, and I forgot to write this earlier... I really enjoyed reading your article! I didn't even think about this, but your description of the stages made me realize that I might have much more in common with other drama fans than I've been thinking.
LOL. why is this a real issue and why do i relate to this. I'm totally the same. Started off with the mindset…
I love that you have a monthly "watching list"! It seems like a great way of choosing what you would like to watch and give yourself the opportunity to actually enjoy yourself. I should definitely try that!
I used to not even be able to skip 10 seconds of a drama, let alone drop one. However, I've come to the realization that wasting my time watching a drama that doesn't speak to me on a deeper level isn't worth it. My worst habit is watching an episode of a drama at night, right before going to bed, and having forgotten the exiting cliffhanger etc. the next day... resulting in me not continuing to watch it for a few weeks before it ends on my on-hold list. My on-hold list is more or less my "forgotten or dropped but (probably) worth a second chance"-list... My plan to watch-list has, for a long time, been like my bookshelf. I have lots of books, but I'm so used to seeing them on my shelf that I don't even wanna start reading any of them. The same goes for the dramas (oops).... Recently though, I went through my whole plan to watch-list and removed a lot of them. Now I only have the ones I'm actually interested in watching and hopefully this will prevent me from dropping them before even watching the first second of the drama!! xD
Well, if you count by 1 hour long episodes, then yes! But I've been counting by the 30 minutes episodes so that would mean 32 episodes in total... So I've only watched the first half of the drama ^^
I didn't like the main couple at all for some reason I can't really explain, and their story wasn't really that great... That said, I absolutely loved all the other characters and they definitely made it worth watching!
Two years ago, I dropped this drama after watching 16 episodes. Then I thought I'd give it another go and got rather hooked... only to drop it again after watching the first 16 episodes... I can't really explain why but the story just gets boring
I was hesitating for a long time because of the heavy romance vibes I got from the description. I just finished watching and I'm so relived that the plot itself didn't rely on the romance aspects. Definitely not diasppointed!
Finally got mysef back to watch this drama and I am so frustrated.... it really just goes down from ep 13, their romance is way too lovey dovey for a good amount of the episode and nothing really happens, then ep 14 where O Sol, her brother and their dad are acting so frustrating and stubborn.... This drama was really good up until ep 12 but then it really went rock bottom and I honestly don't know how I'll get myself to watch the last two episodes.... they ruined what could have been an amazing drama in no time
As for me, I just don't like her way of acting... it feels way too exaggerated and somewhat childish for me to be able to enjoy the character she portrays. I know some characters are supposed to be like that but even then it feels too unnatural for my liking... This is just my personal opinion though c:'
