What turned out to be one of the best 1st episode of the year, ended with one of the worst. When did writers forget to write stories properly?

I couldn't care less about the Webtoon, but if you can't follow your own story properly, what's the point of writing something? This show was saved by the amazing performance of Kim You Jung.

Yes, but that wasn't the case with the phone here. I get the computer, because I know many people don't log off at their work place. I worked at companies like she did and people looked at me like a weirdo when I always put the PC on sleep mode when I go restroom or just eat.😂

"Hur Jun, the Original Story" or "Today's Webtoon" for example. Both are well-written and under 8.0. 😅 I rate both show 9/10, and I rarely give a higher score than 8.

The reason romcoms are not my faves Kdrama genre is because people always want to make excuses for the shitty script, like: "It's just a romcom." Yeah, sure, but that doesn't excuse the lazy, inconsistent and unrealistic writing. This is a romcom, not a fantasy.

Like, if I want to frame someone, and I'm using her own computer to send a mail and I see a massive smart phone on the table recording, the least I can do is stop the recording. And this is just one stupid mistake the writer made.

8.0 for this show is still too high, considering how many well-written shows has lower scores.

I know, but that shouldn't be the standard. On VIKI every freakin' show is at least 9.0 rated.😂

Everything above 8.0 is really good, and this wasn't. I know it's all about taste, but I've seen 7.0 or below rated shows I actually liked more than this one.

I mean, if 8-8.3 is mid/decent, what can we say about shows that are rated lower than 7? 😅

It's just most people don't like to give lower scores, even if they say they had problems with some dramas. I've read many comments and reviews from people over the years saying the writing was bad, and they give 8+ ratings. It just doesn't make sense.

This drama is another example of how Kdrama fans' brain works. Most people think the writing was bad, but they still give at least 8/10 rating because the kissing scenes were hot, and the chemistry was great.

I seriously don't know why people watch Kdramas if they only care about the chemistry, they shouldn't rate shows based on that. Yesterday I wrote my review, and I realized and forgot to mention 100s of mistakes that writer made in 14 episodes, not just the last couple. It was all over the place.

As I said below, "Dynamite Kiss" is basically the new "Love Next Door", "Lovely Runner" and "When The Phone Rings", and no, not in a good way because all 3 of these were overhyped but average at best or even worse.

It's kinda sad that in 2025 most fans can still be tricked by cute boys and kissing scenes.

There's no way in hell this drama deserve more than 6.0 let alone 8.0 rating with one of the worst writing. Most people only giving high rating because of the 2 main leads, but story wise, this was a mess, to say the least. It's basically "Lovely Runner", "Love Next Door" and "When the Phone Rings" 2.0.

Also, people don't understand what LOW means. 8.0+ rating is HIGH as hell. 6 and 7 is Average and Above-average. Below 6 is below-average and poor. It's just most Kdrama fans only know 3 ratings. 8, 9, and 10.

This Rookie Writer probably fell asleep half-time and had to ask ChatGPT to finish the script, because if that's not what happened, she should never get a job in this industry again.

No, this is why a Kdrama needs a REAL WRITER. If this is 16 episodes, she would've just spent another 2 episodes on some other ridiculous nonsense. The last 2 episodes wasn't bad because it was shorter, it was bad because the writer is a rookie who grew up reading Twilight books, probably.😂

If we don't judge a killer just because it was self-defense, the whole meaning is pointless.

In my eyes, the only victims are the ones who don't kill anyone. Leaders, and solders, aren't. Sure, some might argue, solders are forced to defend their country, BUT why we should celebrate something like that later and call it "Freedom"? At the end of the day people celebrate killing not freedom.

That's all I'm gonna say because this arguing is kind of pointless because no one's gonna agree with me and I know why.

I don't really care what people are praising tbh, but I'm not gonna boycott a show or anything because of that. Only hypocrite people do that. My granddad and great-granddad were also part of a War but no one can see me celebrating my countries so called "Freedom" every year, because I think it's hypocrisy and disgusting to celebrate something that was built on the blood of innocents.

I don't care about the reason. For me, killing is killing, and I don't care who started it and why.

And this is why I'm not judging this guy and others shouldn't do this either, especially if they celebrate their own relatives or just their country for what they did in a War. The fact is, every country does this, everyone have at least 1 "Freedom Celebration" every year.

I mean, other than one line from the ML in the 1st EP he's okay, but he did call her bland or whatever he said, don't remember, but it wasn't as bad as what her ex said. I'm already afraid the writer gonna mess this up later with the loan-shark plot. Usually when they add too many plot-lines in a romcom it doesn't end well.
