At least it's short?
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad show at all, but I have some big problems with it.At first, I didn't know it's a web-drama, because I wanted to watch another Kdrama with Kim Jiwon, and that's how I find it on Netflix.
I liked the premise of the story. It's not original per se, but in the Kdrama world it was fresh. It doesn't felt like a Kdrama, at all, at first. It was like a typical indie TV show. I wasn't a fan of the documentary style, because in some cases it was weird.
The characters were okay, nothing special, just ordinary people, and that was the point anyway.
The first half was fun with the two main lead characters. Their romance felt real and natural, but after we realized what happened and why, it was a bit annoying to me. I get the point why she lied about herself, but doing all that with the guy, and just leave him, and even when they meet again, there was no explanation.
The most irritating part of this show is that the character NEVER talk about their issues. I know, I know, that's how it works in real life as well, and this series is kinda trying to do the same, but it was still annoying, especially, because she lied to everyone, not just the guy. Overall, they were cute and all, but not the best couple I've seen.
As for the secondary couples. It was obvious from the start what's gonna happen with Rin and Kyung. Their relation was too good on the surface. They always hide their problems.
Kang Gun and Sun Young were more interesting at first, but their ending was "meh", and honestly, dumb as hell. I don't even understand what was the point of their romance if they wanted to end like that.
The funny thing is that the most interesting and best couple of the show is the actress girl with the cop guy.
And that's all, basically, because there's nothing more to say. This show is just an ordinary story about ordinary people.
It wasn't bad, but if I want to watch something like this, I will watch "NORMAL PEOPLE" again, even tho that's not a Kdrama! That's how you do a story like this.

It's a MESS, but it's a really fun MESS!
Let's start with the obvious! You're NEVER gonna watch this show, because it's well-written, because it's not! I could tear apart the story like a piece of paper. The base of the story is a mess, there are no rules, basically. I know, every fantasy is different, but I think they made a mistake with some things like that water part. That's basically the biggest plot hole in the story. If one simple drop of water can change her back to mermaid, she couldn't leave the house, basically. They should've done it like in other mermaid shows, like she's only changing when it's seawater.
Also, the crime story was handled poorly. Not to mention the mother story. I get that she divorced and left the house, but for the love of God, how can she leave her son as well? We didn't get a proper explanation of why or how it happened. That's not a real mother in my eyes! The law doesn't work like that, not even in Korea, she could've seen her son at least on a weekly or monthly basis.
The whole story was predictable, BUT with shows like this one, it's not really about the story. It's about the characters, and basically every character were great.
Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho were amazing together. Especially Ji Hyun. I can't believe she was 34 when they shot this Kdrama, yet she looked like the cutest puppy ever. Her (face)acting is something else! She was not only cute, and obviously beautiful as hell, but badass as well. The love story between them was not ordinary or new, but still, I was invested 100%!
Honestly, at first I was like: "20 episodes, why?" But it didn't felt long or stretched, because most of the episodes are like fillers, in a good way. It was like a weekly American show.
My biggest problems with the show, other than the writing, is the last couple of episodes, AGAIN! After they finished all the main story, I just can't understand why they had to start a new drama with her leaving, not to mention erasing everyone's memory. That was 100% pointless, and ridiculous. At first, I was like, why is her heart has a problem, but later we find out the reason, and that made the whole FAKE DRAMA even worse! If she had to leave because she needed time to heal, she should've just said it, not making a fuss about it, so the writers can waste time for unnecessary scenes.
She should just leave, for 3 years, everyone knows what happened, and come back later. End of story. I mean, two of them already knew she's a mermaid, they could've told his mother and the other kid as well.
The last 2 episodes could've been like those filler ones, living in peace, raising their kid etc. Also, we never get any real explanation about that girl who can hear her thoughts. I mean, sure, she remembers her past, but that's not a real explanation. Just because in the past she was a mermaid, it doesn't mean she's a mermaid in the present as well. We never see her mother or her father as well. At first, I thought the father is the guy who died. That would be a nice side story.
Anyway, like I said, you won't watch this show, because it's the best ever, it's a show that you're gonna enjoy if you don't about the story too much, because it's a LOT of fun, and the drama is well-written, most of the time.

A Kdrama with actual meaning!
Before I start writing my review, I want to say something! I keep seeing people dislike shows if it's slower paced, and the meaning of the story wasn't spelled out loudly! I know in Kdrama land, most people want shows real meaning, just cute romance and stuff, and I'm not saying this drama is perfect, it is not perfect, but I've read so many comments and reviews saying, it's boring, the writing is bad, there are plot holes, and they hate Nyeo Shin, because she's EVIL!So, now I want to dive into, why EVERYONE is wrong! At least in the base of the story!
1st: There are ZERO plot holes in the story, you just didn't watch the show carefully.
The main plot is that Dong Kyung has brain cancer, and she's gonna die in 3 months, and in one day everything goes sh-t, so she wants the whole world to end, and that's how Mr. Doom appears. Form here is obvious, I mean, this is a Kdrama, of course they will fall in love and other things, BUT that's not really the main plot here. The main plot is people have to realize something important, and it is the circle of life! There's a rule, so to speak, and you can't change it, doesn't matter how hard you try or want to. There are no EVIL characters in this show. God Girl is not evil, she actually loves humanity, she's literally died millions of times for humanity! She's helping the two lead characters to finally understand what's important, who they are.
People say there is no character development! What did you watch? The fact that Dong Kyung sacrificed their love for the sake of humanity, and Saram (Mr. Doom) finally understands and accepted who he is, and most importantly why he was created in the first place, is a MASSIVE character development! Not to mention the fact that Dong Kyung finally became her own person. She's not doing what others want, she stands up for herself finally.
2nd: It's not boring, it's just slow paced!
People HAVE to learn the difference between, slow paced and boring, because it's not the same thing. It's okay if you don't like slower shows that's more like a slice of life than a pure comic book fantasy drama, but don't call it boring!
It's not always the writer's fault if the viewer can't understand the meaning of the story!
Now, let's start my review!
I'm starting with the obvious. This show isn't unique, it's not like we didn't see anything like this, BUT the way they handled the story IS unique! The two main lead, Park Boyoung and Seo Inguk carries the show, and they're the main reason why it's working, but I have to say, Jung Jiso as the God or Goddess is on the same level, too! She may look like a little girl, but her aura is like the most experienced person on Earth! Honestly, I don't think the rest is matters at all, because all the sub-plots, and side characters are uninteresting. I mean, Dong Kyung's brother isn't bad, he grew on me eventually, and he wasn't really a 1 dimensional character, but he wasn't outstanding. The same goes for Na Jina.
The rest are absolutely forgettable!
The main plot is what matters the most, and it carries the whole show, to be honest! Is this show about: "Love wins all"? Kind of, but not in the same way as many other Kdrama did it, because it's not just about romantic love, it's about parental love as well for BOTH main character! The show is about PATIENCE, ACCEPTANCE, and UNDERSTANDING! Maybe you don't like the rules, but it doesn't mean it's bad!
Anything that you can get easily, it's not worth it! Is it a cliché? YES! Clichés are bad? NO! People just love to use this term as an insult, but clichés exist for a reason. It's the truth, basically!
My biggest problem with the show is the side characters, the lame love triangle, and the ending. Not because it was bad, but because it was like they cut the ending. It was weird, especially because they mentioned the wedding so many times, but it never happened. I mean, it's not like the wedding is necessary, but if I hear about it for 4 or 5 episodes, I want to see it or at least show me that they are married now after a time jump or something.
But the weirdest thing on this was that Kevin guy. I know Koreans love to use western people in their shows, but if they can't speak Korean, or the Korean characters can't speak English, I don't see the point doing it! It was hard to watch every time he was on-screen!
It's also worth mentioning that the OST is good as well! I wouldn't say, it's outstanding, but it's good.
Overall, this is a good drama, with a meaningful message, and yes, it's slow paced, and if you don't like these type of shows, just skip it, but if you want to learn something new, it's made for you!
I'm pretty sure we can find MUCH worse Kdramas on this platform with MUCH HIGHER ratings without any meaning whatsoever!

A cute show wanting to be too many things?
I feel like basically every character on this show was dumb as hell! Not because they believe in past lives or magic, but they didn't even try actually investigate about the things that happened. For example. Hongjo cast a spell to heal Shinyu, but he never went to his doctor to check if the spell was actually working. They just accepted that his love for Hongjo is just magic, but later they found it was "meant to be", so this whole magic plot was basically meaningless. The whole plot was created to make them fall in love, but we never got any answer how they remember their past lives or if his love for her was actually real, or they just went with it.
Sadly, this was the main part of the story, so I can't give this more than 7/10, BUT overall, it's a good Kdrama with likable characters, but with lazy writing. In my opinion, the actors made this show better than it actually is.
The chemistry between Boah and Rowoon is top-notch, but their characters making the dumbest decisions every time. This is such a typical thriller/horror writing when the characters know someone is after them, yet they still don't want to call the police or remain in a safe space.
Also, the side characters, especially their co-workers were annoying, I mean, BIG TIME! The only good character was probably Shinyu's mother and his best friend.
What I didn't like is that they said, Hongjo doesn't have anyone, yet in episode 13, I think, we found it that her landlady is actually her mother's best friend? What the heck?
So, in short, I think this is a fun show, if you can forget all the mess that the writer did with the story. There's nothing special in this show, but I don't think it's a waste of time, but only because the actors did a great job!

It's a unique show, but...
The first half of the show was hella fun, the characters are interesting, and the acting was on point, BUT in the second half, the writers messed up the crime story, BIG TIME! It's easy to tell that 3 different people wrote the script, because when it was about the real drama or the fun it was a peak show, but when they focused on the crime story, they didn't know what they really want.
For some, it may look like they knew all along who's gonna be the real killer, but for me, it was easy to tell, they didn't know it till the last couple of episode. That's why they always changed suspect.
I feared they will mess up the story between Ye Bun and Sun Woo, and they did it. There were ZERO chemistry between them, yet they still forced the romance plot for no reason, and honestly, Ye Bun was pretty annoying multiple times, because she was like a little girl, who can't imagine if her puppy is a killer or not. They should've stuck to him as the killer, because the last couple of episode made no sense! It was really disappointing that they changed the killer, because that ruined at least 2 different story line.
IF this show focus more on the fun parts, it could've been so much better. Also, the so called "love story" between Ye Bun and Jang Yeol was obvious from the start, but they messed up that one too. They stretched their story so much, and there was literally no time left to make them official, so they did it in the last second, basically.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if this is just a body cop show without any romance plot.
It had so much potential, and even tho it's a unique show, sadly, it remained average till the end.

A HOT MESS WITH TOXIC MESSAGE!!!
I wasted 16 hours of my life, and sadly there's no Abyss that can give it back to me.What on Earth was this? I mean, I only watched this till the end, because I love Park Boyoung, but no wonder the writer didn't get any job after this mess. Without joking, this show had more plot holes than episodes.
I don't want to get into details, because writing a real review about this would take more time than what the writer spent on it.
The most important thing: THERE'S NO MEANING IN THIS DRAMA! The only message is that you can spend 20 YEARS with your so called "friend" who you called UGLY many times, but when he comes back as a HOT GUY, you forget who he was, and somehow you think you always loved him.
The BIGGEST BULLSHIT I've EVER seen!
Boyoung, Hyo Seop and the rest of the cast did everything they could, but this is just GARBAGE!
Without Boyoung, I would've dropped it after episode 3 or 4.
If you don't want to waste your time: DON'T WATCH IT! Only if you're crazy like me who want to watch everything from your favorite actors.😅

A decent "finale"?
I'm not sure if they want to continue the story, it looks like it, based on the ending, and I'm not saying I'm not interested, but I feel, what happened in the finale makes no sense at all. Or more like the last 2 episodes.I honestly don't understand why Kdrama writers always do this. They either finish the story fast in the finale, and it ruins the whole thing, or so many things happening, and they forget what was the original plan.
Overall, this is a good show, with great casting, acting, music and visuals, and even tho I wasn't a fan of recasting Eun Seom and Tan Ya, but both of them are great actors and I "forget" that they weren't the original actors. But I still think, the chemistry wasn't as good as with Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won. Ji Won was more charismatic in the role.
The biggest problem is the plot holes and plot armor. The characters made so many dumb mistakes, they should've been killed off already, but the plot holes always protected them.
I also think, the writers didn't do much with this story, even tho it was 30 episode overall!
To be honest, the show represents well how stupid people are, and most of them are like sheep.
What I HATE in the last 2 episode is what they did with Tan Ya. Thousands of people followed her, yet the minute their King is back, they forget her? How is that makes any sense?
Also, the irritating cycle between Ta Gon and Tae Alha is just ridiculous. Sure, they love each other, yet they want to kill each other, but she had a chance to live a normal life with her son, but no, she wants revenge and another war with her teen son?
Not to mention Saya. He's probably the one who suffered the most, BUT it's not an excuse for wanting the throne again. Why? His brother saved him, he knows Tan Ya loves Eun Seom and Arthdal is finally at peace or something like that. But no, let's do another war, because girlie doesn't love us, so let's kill everyone?
I thought his character developed, but they ruined it in the finale.
Anyway, this is a good show overall, but I'm not sure we really need another season, even tho I'd love to see how Eun Seom and Tan Ya ruling Arthdal.

Overall: Good show!
I'm not sure how to rate this show without watching the 2nd season, but overall, the first 18 episodes were good. The world building, the characters, the complexity of the story, it was all good, even tho we can't ignore the plot armor, but that's just a usual thing in fantasy shows. It was kind of disappointing that Eun Seom and Tan Ya didn't meat in this season, but at least she knows that he's alive. Tan Ya's arc was probably the best, her character developed the most.
There were some parts where the story didn't really make sense, and sometimes it felt like I'm watching filler episodes. The power struggle between Ta Gon, Sa Ya, Tae Al Ha and the others were interesting, but I felt the writers didn't have the courage to take some drastic measures. I also think that Eun Seom remained the same naive guy till the end. Sure, he's strong and smart, but I hope in the next season he's not gonna be this sunshine and rainbow guy who thinks everything can be solved with kindness. I mean, the message is good, but that's not how the real world works.
My biggest problem is that in season 2, Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won are no longer there. I don't know why, probably scheduling conflicts, but it's already a negative for me. Even tho, I like both of the new actors who play these roles.
I think the creators messed it up a bit with doing the new season 4 years later.
The OST and the Score were amazing, just like the cinematography and the VFX.
I highly recommend this show to every fantasy lover, especially if the 2nd season is good too.

Yeah, I was not prepered for this!
At all!!! I thought, I this is going to be a fun teen comedy with some cheesy romance, but no, it was more mature than I expected. The writing was fantastic, the actors are great, and if you lived as a teen in the 90s you'll feel the nostalgia. Okay, technically I was only 13 in 2000, but still.😅
Anyway, at first I was afraid, they might do a lame love triangle or even quadruple, but no, they managed this whole romance story in the best possible way.
I'm not sure what can I say more without spoiling it, but DON'T READ ANYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE BEFORE YOU WATCH IT!

It was a surprising show!
Not, because the plot isn't predictable. Even tho there were some elements that actually surprised me, but there are shows that are even tho they're predictable, it's still fun, have a real meaning. My Demon is not the best show on Earth, but they didn't complicate the story too much, didn't stretched out anything for no reason, like many Kdrama does. Basically every character is lovable, funny, and the villains are not 1-dimensional.The writing isn't the best, but it's consistent, there's no unnecessary drama. Everything that the characters are doing is understandable. The chemistry between Kim You Jung and Song Kang is top-notch, every actor did their best. Honestly, it's quite surprising that most characters actually developed into a better one.
The best part, at least for me, is that there's no stupid love drama, no crazy love triangle or anything like that. The past life story was great too, but it could've been a bit longer.
I LOVED how Ga Young's story "ended", her character development is probably the best!
Like I said, the show surprised me with some of its twists, but overall it's still predictable, but this is the prime example when it can't ruin the enjoyment.
I loved the message of the show as well: Nothing as simple as you may think. Everything has two sides.
I think, this is the meaning of the show.
This show deserve the hype for sure, but don't expect too much, this is just a good, thrilling show with well-written characters and love story.

The simple things are the best!
Just like this show! There are shows that don't do much, it's just about average people and their average lives, doing dumb things, making mistakes like everyone else. Fight for my way is like this! Nothing special, nothing fancy or over the top, just a really good feelgood and fun drama with real people.
I don't think there's anything I have to talk about, because there are no big plots, so you have to see it for yourself.
I only had problems with the last 2 episodes. They should've done it after episode 12-13 or so, because that story was actually interesting and good, but sadly the writer messed it up a bit, because they found out everything in the finale, and it was solved in the same episode, basically.
Other than that, this is a fantastic show, with great actors and chemistry. Dong Man and Ae Ra's relationship carrying the whole show, it was fun as hell, because Seo Joon and Ji Woon are comedic genius, I'm sure. Their aegyo scenes are hilarious, and probably this is why it's still Legendary. 😂
Ha Yoon as Seol Hee absolutely stole the show for me. Every nice guy deserves a great woman like her, except Joo Man!😅
Their story was interesting, and even tho their ending was realistic, I didn't like it. Sure, it wasn't cheating technically, but I don't think I would forgive him.
Also, the MMA scenes were a bit lackluster.
I think if there's a show that deserve a couple of more episodes, it's "Fight for my way".

A feelgood, fun show, but that's all!
It was nothing special, to be honest. Sure, there was some really good storyline, the whole X story was good and most characters were great too, but that's all. It doesn't want to be more than it is, and that sometimes isn't a bad thing, but if you include bullying, fraud and other important storylines, you have to do something with them. Honestly, the only story that was well written is the X story. They didn't do much with the bullying girls, for example. I liked that some bullies, like Bo Ra's friend, wasn't that bad, but still, I don't like that basically no one got the well deserved punishment. Poor girl had to endure so many sh*t and every bully just moved on? Why, because nobody cared. The policewoman was just there for romance purpose, basically. Also, the accident with the bus was really bad. I mean, everyone looked like if they crashed with a truck. Not to mention, when the girls were fighting, they didn't do much, and still they looked like MMA fighters after a match.😅 Lastly, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't a single kiss scene. I mean, I get that 18-year-olds maybe don't want to kiss, but what about the adults! They acted like teens, too.Other than that, this is a good show, Eun Ho and Tae Woon were really great together, not a typical couple for sure.
Sejeong's obviously stole the whole show, and her aegyo is legendary for a reason.🤣
Like I said, it's nothing special, but still worth watching it. Sometimes it feels good to watch a random show that turns off your brain for 16 hours.

A real feelgood movie!
This movie is almost perfect. My only problem is that the score and music is not the best, and the World Cup scenes with the cheering and commentating was cringe as hell most of the time. Too over the top. The cast was great, especially the two lead. The other members in the team had a good backstory too. This was a feelgood, heartwarming movie and funny too. Also, even though it would've been nice to see a happy ending for everyone, I liked it that not everyone had it. My other problem is that we didn't get any confirmation about In Sun's girlfriend, or maybe I just missed it. That Japanese girl was her because we never saw her again. Was this review helpful to you?

Almost perfect!
One of the most heartbreaking drama I've watched so far. I had to wait days to feel better emotionally and mentally, so I can write my review. The two main lead Kim Joo Hyuk (Rest in Peace 😭) and Park Eun Bin were absolutely phenomenal! All the hardships, disrespect, pain, and misery they had to endure from others, and they still remained calm and kind to others is what every people should do, and we would live in Utopia, probably. Sure, it's long it could've been like 100 episode or so and there were a couple of average episodes and some weird plot lines but overall this show, the actors, the writers didn't disappoint me. Also, the music and the score is beyond fantastic. In my opinion, this drama is a must-watch for everyone for one reason! People have to learn how to behave and how to be kind to others! I will rewatch this show many times, even if it's depressing as hell! Was this review helpful to you?

A HUGE missed opportunity!
First of all. I only watched this drama because I love Park Eun-bin. If I would live in Korea I would smack the writer on the face. I don't know about others but for me, this was THE most frustrating drama I've EVER watched so far. Not because the two lead are idiots, I watched a lot of drama, even mexican soap opera so the fact that the main couple are just a typical "I love you but I can't be with you for some random and 100% dumb reason." characters didn't bothered me much. But I HATE when someone using time travel to make it more interesting but for the most part it doesn't even matter if he's a traveler or not. Honestly, this drama could've been one of the best with a better writer. Also, can I just say how weird it is that coach knew these guys since they were like 17 and he's obviously MUCH older than Yi Seul and nobody bothered to say anything about this? This is the first drama that I've seen from Eun-bin where her character was written as a typical cliche female character. The OST, the acting was great and that's the only reason why I didn't stopped watching it. It was a long time when I was this angry after watching something. This show should've been a fun time traveling romantic story but in the end I don't there was any character development. Both lead character remained the same.
SPOILER!!!!
Honestly, I hated when they killed off Yi Seul BUT I would liked that ending better (after they dragged out the drama too long for no reason) so the whole time traveling story would make sense or at least would have a real consequence or even keep the amnesia trope with Baek Ho. Also they should've just skip the typical love drama and should've used Baek Ho and Yi Seul relationship more, not to mention Baek Ho's backstory with her family!
