This drama is the embodiment of "Stupid Fun". 🤣 Literally everything is bullshit nonsense in this, but you just can't hate it because it's not like they take it seriously.

I like the main leads, but I lost interest after reading the first couple of sentences of the plot.

Right, because Netflix invented the "amnesia" plot in Kdramas? This is basically the story of half the whole romcom Kdramas. 🤣

It could've been so much better with a competent writer who doesn't leave the project halfway through. The last 4 or 5 episodes were all over the place. One of the worst ML characters I've seen in a historic drama tbh. Not because of the actor, but his character was so bland and sometimes even irritating. The so-called main villain was more likable than him, but they made him a clown in the end.

At least Kang Hana's character was great till the end and didn't become worse.

Most of the action movies or shows are unrealistic, especially when it comes to the main lead. Just look at John Wick.

I've been reading comics since the 90s so yeah, I know all that. That's why I can't get hyped anymore unless the story is actually good. So far it's decent.

Being realistic has nothing to do with the original being a Manhwa, Manga, Comic or book. The story isn't sci-fi or fantasy, it's just an action based on the movie "TAKEN".

The girl should've died a long time ago and that's just one thing that's not realistic.

Not very realistic, sadly, but it's entertaining at least. Most of the fight scenes are well-made too. Thank God it's only 10 episodes because I don't think this story could handle more than 8 or 10.

You're not wrong, but I expected and wanted more than a temporary solution and more detailed characters. That's all. I think 8/10 is a fair rating for this.

I watched multiple dramas with him. He's not bad, but I don't think he's charismatic enough for a crime thriller, but we'll see. I will change my mind if he can prove me wrong. I'm more worried about the writer. I said the same thing about that guy who was in Snowdrop, I always forget his name even tho I kinda like him. He's not bad either, but the romcoms suit both of them better. To be fair most of their characters were bland or not well-written.

I wouldn't say Jinyoung is up there with someone like Park Boyoung, for example. That's nonsense, I'm sorry. I'd say both guys are average. Being average in a Kdrama world isn't a bad thing, btw.

What's so weird about not liking his acting? I don't care about his pretty face like most fangirls. Pretty much all of his dramas I've seen were carried by the female leads.

To be honest, they could've find a more charismatic male lead. Especially next to someone like Yoojung. I was a GOT7 fan back in the day, but I don't get why he's always the ML next to one of the best actresses. 😂

Yeah, the drama is good, and I usually don't say this, but with more episodes they could've included some actual (not heavy) legal drama and more politics. Not to mention, it would've been nice to see them going back to the schools they "fixed" because it's not realistic that they just went there pulling some punches and the bullies are gone.

I mean, just look at those drug dealer idiots. They are in jail, but they will be out after a year or less. The "main villain" kid was out after, I don't know, 2 years? Even tho he killed the teacher.

So yeah, this drama could've been a 10 with more depth.

It was good and fun, but if you think about it, it didn't offer much other than brainless fun.

Watching them "teaching" the bullies was fun, be it kids, parents, or teachers, but we didn't see much character development. Most of the bullies didn't get any punishment, just some beating, and some of them just randomly turned into good guys after they got beaten. Not very realistic.

What happened with some of the bullies and criminals? Why aren't they in prison? What about the parents who literally give drugs to their kids to have better grades? Especially that one parent who almost killed her son to be a doctor? Why did no one say a word about the so-called "main villain" who just randomly got out of prison? Yeah, I know the other politician helped him, but still, it was nonsense.

Some parts were handled poorly, but some were really great and even surprised me story-wise, but as for the characters, we didn't learn basically anything about our female lead, just the most basic things; the same goes for the SML boy.

Sadly, they were so afraid of how Koreans would react, so they didn't delve deep into this bullying and political stuff. Their organization just solved a new problem in every episode and moved on to the next school, and they were acting like they were making the world better.

This could've been much better if it were not a case-by-case story, just 1 or 2 cases, and they made it more interesting and showed us the actual procedures, like more politics and some legal drama parts and so on.


Without these, this is just a shallow but fun drama, nothing more.

Characters not being Korean and a fictional made-up world like in Perfect Crown where the writer can't follow her own rules is not the same thing.

So, no, it's not a contradiction. Casting has nothing to do with the story. There are many TV shows where the actors are not from the same country.

The only thing that's important is the writing. Perfect Crown wasn't a well-written story. It was a mess. They set up a fictional world with a constitutional monarchy where Korea is a free country, yet they still used Chinese traditions. That's the real contradiction, not the nationality of the cast.

You can't really name many adaptations that are 100% true to the original because "adaptation" literally means changing the original. A new interpretation.

Most people think an adaptation has to be the same, but then it would offer nothing to people who know the source material.
