I've just finished the last two ep. I am quite sad it's finished. I wish there could have been more episodes. I feel like we need more, it's not enought!
The main actor. He did such an amazing job! All of the actors did amazing, don't get me wrong. It's just that the main actor Yoo Jeon caught my attention the most with his acting skills, for real.
The plottwist at the end totally caught me off guard! I was nooot ready.
The moment he went to the store to buy the products I was laughing cause I took it as a joke at first and then I was like : "oh wait, he's getting hella serious now ... " The plot twist was SO unexpected. Well, I am not complaining. Great show!
Season 2 please, our life would not be complete without a season 2. I like this kdrama a lot, it's great. The acting is seriously very good and the story is truly good too.
I am still in the process of realising that Hyunjun is pllaying that kind of role. I did not expected that at all! I ain't complaining. I'll look forward to it!
i'm into watching bl dramas rn, i've watched 2gether. whre your eyes linger, addicted, and now iam currently watching…
I'm also into bl and I'm highly selective when it comes to bl, (to tell you after watching "where your eyes linger" I became even more strict with bl I don't care about anything else). While I agree a story doesnt need explicit kiss or others scenes to be a bl, I would absolutely not consider "the untamned" as a bl at all. It really looks like a friendship to me, and nothing more. Wether or not it is because of the acting, the censor or both, if people didn't told me it was adapted from a bl novel, I'd never though it was a bl story to begin with. Furthermore, the story is boring and draggy. Overall, this drama is overrated and I'd not recommend it to anyone.

I agree with your review completely. Some people even call this boring and unpleasant drama a "masterpiece"? HOW? WHY? I'd like to know how old these people are to say this is a masterpiece. Also, how were you able to finish this drama lol ? I've dropped it at the episode 7 and I've skipped many many many scenes lol. I'd never recommend this drama too.
The Movie is good. However, the drama version is way better than the movie. With the movie version you can really tell that the OSTs (as well as their timing in the scenes) plays a major role in the overall quality of the product. In addition, the translation is more accurate in the drama. For the voice narration, I really don't think its absence was a problem in the movie. Withouth the narration we are able to appreciate and understand the story without being guided by an inner voice.
It may be out of the topic but I just wanted to say I think SK is already dominating the BL genre with only "Where…
Well, from my opinion, it is a masterpiece in its genre. No need to be bl fanatic for more than three decade to be able to come into this conclusion. For me, quality over quantity. In the order, it will be like this : SK >>> Taiwanese >> Japan > Thai. If I have to choose only one, I'll choose SK only of course. The only little thing I would erase from "Where your eyes linger" is the scenes with the restaurant owner, the mother of the main female character because they were very unecessary and "childish/cringy" (for ex when she was reading fanfic or idk what it was and when she said "you are the attack, the defense" like wth ?). But aside of this little detail that has overall absolutely no impact, I clearly cannot say it's not the best in its genre. To be frank, I don't like Thai and Japanese BL at all. Taiwanese is bearable but not exceptional, but since I had no other choice before, I've watched Taiwanese exclusively. But from now on, things will change for the better :')
