Totally agreed! Specially Ep7-8 dropped the whole plot for me, chemistry was just not working and easily better…
Right?? Even the side characters feel pointless. No chemistry, no direction, nothing tying it together. It’s like they’re all just there because the script says so. Everything feels forced. yeah… I’m remembering these writers’ names after this so I know what to avoid next time
They had the perfect ingredients to create a supernatural fantasy romance like Goblin but somehow, it just doesn’t work. The script feels messy and unfocused, and the background music is especially distracting. Instead of enhancing the emotions, the BGM practically screams at you how you’re supposed to feel in every single scene. It’s overwhelming and takes away from the natural flow of the story. The directing doesn’t help either, many emotional moments fall flat when they should’ve hit harder. The biggest issue is the writing of the characters. The show clearly aims for a bickering, fun, enemies-to-lovers dynamic, but instead of feeling charming, it just makes both the ML and FL come off as unlikable. The chemistry suffers not because the actors lack it, but because the script doesn’t give them anything meaningful to build on. I’m honestly only staying for the casts. It’s heartbreaking to see Hye Yoon and Lomon stuck in a script this messy. They were a pairing I genuinely looked forward to, which makes this feel like the definition of wasted potential. Such a sigh… it could have been so much more.
lately I saw many people down rating the drama and some people giving reviews such as fml is too hyperactive, her voice is annoying, her acting is overly dramatic, the plot is trash, bla bla and gave rating like 2/3 . They said the show doesn’t deserve the hype and even labeled LR fans as robotic, blind and obsessive fans. meanwhile they gave 7/8 rating to strong girl KNS and other mediocre dramas (for me). I mean everyone has their own opinions and for people who really enjoyed the show, LR is 9/10 for them, and they hyped the drama of course they really loved it. and people who hate LR calling us like obsessive and blind. if you don’t like the show, just move on and go watch other dramas. may be they want others to hate LR just because it’s not their cup of tea. ?? o_O

yes, i know ㅠㅠ and that artistcompany, (name of Hye Yoon’s new agency) didn’t promote the drama, there’s not even a single content about her drama except for the welcome post. I understand if they don’t have bts contents to post but you know they can at least promote her drama in other ways or either arrange to go to variety shows. They should learn from Varo Entertainment.

Even if Jing doesn’t exist, XY and XL still won’t end up together. at the end of the day, XY is a girl who clearly knows what she wants and she will choose whoever she wants to be with. let’s just enjoy the drama, no need to fight here.

I think they cut scenes where ym and xk’s first encounter. this is sad. if i’m not mistaken, ym slapped xk in that scene after she kissed him, i sawed that in trailer. Hoping they won’t cut/delete many scenes in later episodes.

how do you even conclude that this episode is encouraging teenage pregnancy? goshhh just because there is a cheating character in the drama, that doesn’t mean it’s encouraging you to cheat. everything in life is a reflection of choices you’ve made. Teenage pregnancy is already happening in reality. And the writer is just highlighting that in the drama. can’t you see all the hardships teens have faced in the show? I don’t think any teens will want to face those in reality.
even mediocre rom-com dramas have rating over 8 and look at this. speechless! Seems like people from mdl purposely mass downrating this drama in my opinion because rating in south korea are 7.32 & 8.74 for ep-1,2 which is high for paid tv channel like tvN and I believe it will soar higher in upcoming episodes. I haven’t even rated here yet in mdl because it’s too early to judge with only 2 eps although I’m personally enjoying this drama so much.
