Even though at the minute I don't like the ML I completely understand that, I myself would only have sex with someone if there's an emotional attachment. That actually makes a lot of sense but I think the FL much have trauma, like you said her mother wasn't the best with affection. I think when he let her husband have an affair I think she should have made it clear to go to brothels ...but then he seemed so offended and disgusted by the idea of her having sex with a sex worker, but then I guess that's where the emotional attachment for a sex partner comes in. He himself would know that if he were to start having sex with someone else he'll fall in love. As an empath I do feel bad for him but I kind of want to root for them to work their shit out. After watching My Husband Won't Fit and Fishbowl Wives, it's not to late for them to work it out. I hope the FL kinds her emotional side.
That does make sense, I do like this switch up of gender stereotype swap. But from what I've seen in Japan there are more Male hosts and sex workers, I know many people are against brothels and it is cheating (if someone is dating) but I think places like that can be beneficial for many people.
I think the only reason I don't like the ML is because of the whole cheating thing, I know they technically had an agreement but he was happy and comfortable having sex with someone else. That being said if I watch the first 5 eps again and focus on his character and not the whole mistress thing I may like him more, I do hope the 2ML and 2ML work things out. Japan is pretty good with storylines like this, especially overcoming the infidelity.
I think the only way they can move forward is to stop falling into the past and I think it's a good thing they are temporarily separated..but since the sex worker is back she may fall into having sex with him more. 1 thing I'll say about Japanese infidelity shows is that they make it so you feel for each character and root for them in different ways and they make you sympathise.

Her sharing personal information is wrong, without a doubt but the way I see it is if he's having sex with someone else then she should be allowed to, regardless if she told him or not. If the rules were for her to have a sex partner he would have been mad anyway. Why was it okay for him to have an affair for entire year, it's obvious he saw his lover way more than they agree. It's almost like he did it to spite her, promising (in his mind) that it was the last time he'd see his lover, well karma caught up to him with that dick injury. i am so glad she decided to have sex with that cute worker (I mean it's Hokuto), it was good to see her finally get the satisfaction she deserved. So many people think the ML is the victim...she had sex with someone else ONCE and he did it for A YEAR. Even went on picnic dates with his lover. It's obvious how it's going to end but they lack seriously communication with sex.
I know she told her to have an affair and I know she shouldn't have discussed their private life with a sex worker, but that said sex worker kind of helped her and he was gentle. The husband should have never casually accepted to have an affair. In that entire year he seemly only felt bad once, didn't seem like he even tried to understand where she was coming from and he was blind to her being miserable. Both are in the wrong, she should have told him she wanted a lover...it's just odd she couldn't have sex with her hubby but sue could someone else

Both ML and 2FL are beyond selfish people, at least the ML has some guilt. Sex is the only issue and they can't even be bothered to fix it.

i don't know, I know everyone is different. For me personally I think it's a bit deal, but that's just based on me. For this series though I'm glad that he's exploring himself, whether someone's a virgin or not it's good to know yourself and what you like and dislike, it's better for communication.
