You know what, unless you've (or i) been in the FL's position you'll never understand why she went back to her ex. 2ML only loved her persona, just like real life we never know how someone feels or thinks and in real life we don't get a say in what other people do with their life. So in many ways I guess this was the best outcome for the ending.
