ok so i watched around 2.5 episodes and am a bit confused. didn't vee basically cheat on ploy with mark? why does he get so defensive when mark reveals what he saw about ploy?
my rationalisation of the ending (after i've calmed down lol):
nut and tofu’s love was a losing game from the beginning. tofu was just a teddy bear who gained consciousness as a result of tatarn’s love. he was meant to be an object that would provide nut with warmth and comfort in place of tarn. tarn was satisfied from watching from a distance as long as the man he loved was happy. however when he fell into a coma, there was no one to watch over nut. tofu became a physical manifestation of tarn’s love. the reason tofu looked like nueng was because tarn wanted someone that was sure to bring comfort to nut — if not his first love, why not his first crush? but somewhere along the way, that teddy bear picked up things from the humans around him. he became too real. a human fell in love with him. he got to love the human back, in a different way from how he’d been loving him in the past 10 years. he wasn’t just a lover; he was a friend and healer for those around him. he broke down walls and restarted conversations that had been dormant for decades. he left a mark on everyone who lived in the same tiny universe as him.
soon though, he started realising why him, out of all objects in the house, was chosen for this miracle. it hurt him but sweet, selfless tofu only wished for best for everyone. and that everyone included tarn, despite being the subject of his jealousy. he disappeared the same way he appeared into nut’s life and went back to his natural state. his mission had been fulfilled — nut was finally happy and that was all tofu ever wanted.
Hello - Could someone explain what exactly is a Thai "Lakorn"? Thank You!
as blue explained, lakorns are soap operas. the main difference in usual series and lakorns is that series generally have shorter eps while lakorns have longer eps
did a queer person contribute in writing the script and the dialogue? because some scenes hit too close to home.…
it was also kinda chilling to see a character like nut because i relate to him sm. it almost seems to be a warning about the future that awaits me if i didn’t try to resolve some issues, at least from my end. i don’t think there’s a teddy-turned-human waiting to be my anchor.
did a queer person contribute in writing the script and the dialogue? because some scenes hit too close to home. growing up gay, in a conservative country and a military household, did all of us have the same experience?
