should i watch this?? i watched about 10 minutes of the first episode and had absolutely no idea about what was going on so i stopped.

Rain was the best at giving feedback and actually cared about the participants. I'm not saying the new ones don't but Rain really was a whole other level. The participants always seemed to give a better performance after Rain's pep talks and advice.
