I liked yunok in part 1. She was a woman of dignity and always knew to respect people and boundaries. Today she…
I also found her intervention really annoying (and yes, they made her that way for the plot; although I never liked her in S1, she was more respectful of Uk's boundaries) and can't wait to see her put in her place, but I can also see why she would be more hostile to Buyeon than to Mudeok. After all, Uk and Mudeok liked each other first, so she felt like an intruder in their relationship, but from her perspective Buyeon is a random hanger-on and she 'deserves' Uk more because she's liked him longer. (She almost says this word for word.)

A very immature contribution to today's episode and I hope she won't take up too much screen time with this nonsense.

Man, I just want Buyeon and Uk to have more scenes together because they're hilarious. But it looks like the pace is ramping up and episode 4 will be all about hunting for a fake Naksu, Buyeon being in danger (of getting body-harvested by the insane queen?) and Uk playing politics and thinking about his dead lover. I hope they'll fit in some relationship development for our leads in between all that.

She could have chosen to say anything else and insted she went "it seems we have liked each others for a long…
I'm pretty sure that line is misleading and she didn't remember her identity as Naksu. She must have remembered *something*, but without additional information she misinterpreted it. The fact she was a fearsome soul-shifting assassin in a previous life, survived a near-death experience in secret and her identity is a lie constructed by Lady Jin is not an obvious leap to make.

A Ma Boyoung novel adaptation... and it's about mathematics... and revenge... set in the Ming era... Yeah, whatever, sounds insane, but I'm IN.

Wang Yang is in it? I'm EVEN MORE IN. This guy is such a good actor. Especially compelling in morally ambiguous/villainous roles.

Haemi has got to be a massive drag on company productivity at this point. All she does all day long is bully one subordinate, sexually harass another and eavesdrop on private conversations. She's absolutely not in the office to work.

If TS Retail was run like a real company and not like a feudal castle where everything is based on family ties and nepotism, she would have been fired a long time ago.

Only 2 episodes are finished but the Chemistry between main lead is insane and fresh . I didn’t feel this way…
Yeah, I enjoyed a lot of stuff in S1, but the romance itself didn't really move me. But in S2 it's much more thrilling IMO. The main leads' interactions are charged with more tension now.

Title Doona!
you can check the images at the top you want, suzy is just like in her 20's
I’ve watched Suzy in many dramas and she looks 28, not 20. She’s the wrong choice for this role.

The trailer is right up my alley, but when I'm watching a depressing quasi-infidelity melo I NEED my happy ending. I'll do my best to hold out until the end so I can decide if I should watch this after I know how it ends...

I never quite understand why the blurbs for Korean dramas waste words on describing how handsome (or pretty) the…
It's because the actual attractiveness of Korean actors is completely divorced from the appearance of the characters they're meant to be portraying. Very often you see the opposite phenomenon as well, where an obviously attractive actor (or more often actress) is treated as average-looking or ugly by the story/other characters. Kim Seulgi has been cast as an 'ugly' character multiple times despite being gorgeous, and even Moon Gayoung herself starred in that romcom where she was supposed to be ugly without makeup. Like get real.

I think it's ridiculous and actively harmful to put beautiful women on screen and call them ugly, but kdramas do it all the time. They also love to make being handsome the defining characteristic of a male character when the actor is not any more handsome than all the other hot men in the drama. (It happens with female characters as well, of course; the SFL is often meant to be sexy and beautiful while the FL is meant to be an ugly duckling when in reality both actresses are extremely attractive.)

Anyway, all this is to say that it's normal in kdramaland for the drama to tell you how hot a character is supposed to be. And you have to go with it even if it's blatantly not true.

Possibly an engagement gift. He was engaged to Choyeon twice haha
Wasn’t it implied in S1 that they had been betrothed as children before she disappeared or did I hallucinate that?

Title Doona!
I’m a big fan of the webtoon, but unfortunately the casting has really shaken my confidence in the drama adaptation… The protagonists are supposed to be like 20 years old, but both actors are almost ten years older than their respective characters. And also they just don’t look university-aged at all? The casting approach should have been completely different from the start.

She has but he won't unless he knows it's his mudeok
Sure, let’s make a bet. I’m very comfortable with my prediction given their interactions so far. He’s already more invested in Buyeon’s life than he claims to be and they’ve only had an episode of prolonged contact.

So, I tried to sub it--understandable, at last. But this is my first time subbing a long drama, I'm already tired…
OMG, I would be eternally grateful for any real subs. Thank you so much for taking this on! Even if it’s too much work and you stop later, thank you <3 Mango subs are the bane of my existence.

I want to watch this, but Mango subs are worse than no subs for me (because when there are M*ngo subs both streaming websites and potential fansubbers take it as a sign the drama is subbed and you know there’s no hope of them ever redoing it/reuploading better subs in the future, while unsubbed dramas could at least *get* new subs in theory). Tragic.

Don't you think KTH is irresponsible and immature? His brother died on an accident. He told his brother to come…
The reason for their breakup was pretty clear. He went through a life-changing crisis and Chungha was an emotional burden on him at the time because of her expectations for him and their life together, which he could suddenly no longer fulfill.

Maybe he never spoke about his feelings at length (because he was, you know, out of his mind with grief), but again, it was kind of obvious she was not particularly supportive after HIS KID BROTHER DIED and she wanted him to go back to normal as soon as possible while he just wanted to hide in a hole and be alone.

It’s true giving Chungha a longer explanation might have been nice, if he had been capable of it at the time, but people are allowed to end romantic relationships for any reason. He dumped her and cut off all contact for two years. Good or bad, whatever the reason… they’re over. She didn’t cling to him when she saw him again because she needed an explanation years after the fact but because she wanted him back. She refused to accept their breakup, not his reasons for it, which a. were clear and b. didn’t even matter at that point. (If CH was as interested in those reasons as you are, by the way, she would have asked him to give her an explanation. But she never did because, just like when his brother died, she had no interest in actually understanding him. She just wanted them to go back to how things were before Joonho died, which was both impossible and unfair to TH.)

TH broke up with CH abruptly at the worst time of his life, when he didn’t have the emotional capacity to deal with her more kindly. I have a lot of sympathy for him because his brother had just died in an extremely traumatic way (and his girlfriend wanted him to pay attention to her and go to work when he just couldn’t). I have no sympathy for CH’s behaviour in the drama, however, which is much, much worse—she stalked and harassed him, essentially—and has no good excuse. And no, seeing your old ex of many years is not a good excuse for moving into his home to pressure him to take you back. Losing your brother, on the other hand, is a good excuse for ending a relationship that burdens you without offering a nice and clean explanation .

I have absolutely no idea why people are taking CH’s side in this. TH did not handle their breakup perfectly, but he had a very good reason for that and she behaved worse than him, both at the time and later.

I remember when I first watched season 1 I was so amazed and found the original Naksu very pretty and such a badass…
SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1 AND THE BEGINNING OF THIS SEASON AHEAD:

She's in the original Jin Bu-yeon's body (the body of our Mudeok, I suppose), but because of the magic Madam Jin and Master Lee performed to save her, all traces of Bu-yeon's soul are gone and the body has changed to look like Naksu.

Seo Yul and Jang Uk, who have seen Naksu, haven't recognised her yet. I think that makes sense for Jang Uk because he only saw her corpse once years ago. Seo Yul's reaction, however, stretches credibility IMO.
