I'm on ep 22 now and they just keep passing this child around from stranger to stranger. This is so messed up. At this point I'm still watching for Jing Bo ran alone

I'm only on ep 11 and I'm enjoying it so far but why is this child being passed from person to person to take care of (some of whom he only just met) when he has a mother who also lives in Beijing and hopes he'll come back to stay with her one day? Why'd his father fight for custody just to send him away for school? How are these ppl so trusting with a child?

Just finished this and I loved it. The ending was a bit disappointing as I wanted to see more of our couple post reconciliation. All in all I wanted more pay off for the delicious angst we (and they) had to endure but it was a fabulous show nonetheless. I have no idea what to watch next. I welcome your recs
