Haters are still dedicated to this drama, despite that it ended over a month a go, so basically we all cant move on from this masterpiece thats why we all dedicate time to write long scripts over what we claim we hate , or you suddenly like woo do hwan because he brought comedic feels to the show and people now know him because he worked with lee min ho despite many dramas to his name before tkem.
You hate the chemistry and you cant show me better hugs and kissing scenes that is filled longing and emotions in dramaland, truth is you either hate that he is not kissing you or your favorite actress, hose two delivered their chemistry 500/100 better than the story required.
LMH is overrated you say, he is just popular, people just dont become popular worldwide for being moderately handsome, its because he worked hard for it, i wish my favorite kactors like PHJ. GY, LGJ, JIS ,JCW, PSJ, KSH were this popular too after their new dramas and gained like 5 million additional followers because of it, but i cant hate on LMH because he is the most popular kactor, he must have done something right for God to bestow that favour on him and i wont be a witch to hate on him for what the universe handed over to him. You say Kim Eun Sook the writer is overrated- yet her work keeps getting your attention, most of her projects doesn't dwell on in dept development of romance as she focuses on the plot execution more so her romance are usually fast fated based like in goblin, or the annoying endless push and pull in secret garden, heirs, DOTS, gentleman dignity, the success of the romance element in her stories has always been hinged on the chemistry of the leads and the male lead is usually obsessive, its her style, maybe her fantasy perhaps, so nothing changed here, thats why she is particular about who is casted in her story, she doesn't want your half witted pretentious female leads who act like they have never kissed in in their life.
I keep seeing on twitter that TKEM is now top 10 worldwide on netflix , how come the humans who made it so arent watching other kdramas to give it such success?
I watched the drama because of the cute and bubbly eun tak- Kim Go Eun and ended up loving them all, i am here because i am re watching it again because the drama is totally my cup of tea as many across the world, last time i re watched a kdrama was when its okay thats love, goblin, cheese in trap, scarlet heart ryeo aired.

OMMO!!! the story is gradually comimg together. This is one drama you cant even predict the next episode. Its so good and addictive. Such a splendid drama glad i took thia plunge Please if you want to see this drama please dont be dissuaded by a few bad reviews, dive in and pay attention to the details, the answers to most questions we all have are revealed as the episodes increases, even the joke of alice in womderland and the rabbit with the clock all connects together. I also still dont have all the answers, but i am certainly looking forward to new episodes. Gosh and the doppelgangers of yo jeong called eun sop is soo hilarious and tae eul' s as luna is creepy scary to the point of chills, its no wonder the actress was casted, all the actors on this drama are way too good. And i am glad they all have opportunities to showcase acting their range in this amazimg drama.
Writing this because i cant believe i have to wait for another day to watch episode 7, i am seriously angry at myself for starting this non concluded drama because its so hard to wait for the next episode. i came to this forum thinking a nice discussion was going on for those of us having withdrawals and cant seem to wait for the next episode, but i see some viewers here dont like it , anyways different strokes for different folks.
i have watched quite a handful of korean dramas and only few seem to have my attention like this and The king is definitely one of them . The story is unpredictable, it has the right amount of comedy and i love the way the leads acts with their eyes, that where the chemistry between started becoming visible to me and i can see its building up. Th evil uncle is also working behind the scenes like he is building an evil army and i really cant wait to see where that leads, how will they eventually close the door of the parallel world, can they survive in each other's world and eventually be able to stay together, what happens when the kings chief guard sees his doppelganger in the next episode,the leads are already chummy and acting sweet, are they going to eventually break up. i know its just till episode 6 but i am so excited because i cant wait for the story to come together. its been a while that i watched an asian drama that challenged my brain like this. the drama these days have predictable plot with the usual cliche scenes which is okay but shouldn't be overused to avoid cringiness or the drama has increased toxicity that drains me even as a viewer, But this drama The King Eternal Monarch just gives me hope and refreshing feeling.
