O ye that was so dissapointing in love me kill me. He went from full on wicked to a simp in a few episodes…if a girl was the only thing that kept him from turning nice…his character’s wickedness would have vanquished since childhood. They need to make these characters more complex where the ML doesnt change his priorities but is able to slowly shift his perspective due to the kindness being presented by the FL…they need to show an internal battle within the ML where the bad side and good sides are always at odds with each other and sometimes the wicked sidewins and sometimes the good side win. Make your characters unpredictable but also very likable. Thats what makes grey characters so appealing to the masses. I am not even a writer and i know this…so what gives? With these script writers?
Am i the only one that’s enjoying the ML’s wickedness and mindgames towards the FL. He loves her clearly…but i like the fact that the script is not making him the i change overnight cause i love you so much routine…which also explains the push and pull between them. Which makes their dynamic more appealing. I like when they make the MLs more complex gray characters. For example I loved fated hearts but the shift into simping of the ML was unbearable.

I think the reason why they made esther’s character make every first move rather than him..is so they don’t make him appear predatory. He’s already older than her…they didn’t want the character appearing as taking advantage of someone younger and unexperienced…so they went with her initiating
