She is not deaf anymore in the novel. She went to an illegal procedure in Germany and come back with the mindset to protect and save Hae Joo and bring dawn both families. No, I´ve already finished the book. It´s worst that Twilight. I kept reading because is short. This version is very good, ways better than the book.

XFF died and reincarnated in JL, XFF is older than JL. The Jiang family and the Ye family never know the truth. She tells the truth to her brother and after to her father. She becomes somewhat a god daughter. The cdrama is very different but somehow the show manages to mantain the concept of the novel, they chopped events, blend others, change arcs, cut characters, blend characters. I think the inconsistencies and rush parts come to adapte a large novel to fit in 40 episodes. The novel is way better the show.

The real animal is Civet after ransake my brain could guessed it and is for her name in the novel Ah Li -XFF is civet cat sometimes translated racoon and Ah Li- Jiang Li is from Pear and sometimes traslated ginger pear, I am still figured it out this name meaning . I read the novel in the blog recommended here and finished it in mtl. The chinese understand the name meaning because the pronuntiation is slightly different.
