Loved everything about this series except for all the crying it made me do! So well worth the watch and great acting by everyone, they all deserved the awards they received. This was an excellent slice of life story!! Watch it!
**Update: I finished it and it was OK. Things started to come together by Ep. 6, and we see the funny side characters and their stories as heartwarming. The love that blossoms between the two main leads was also a sweet watch. I loved that the idea of selling divorce insurance was really to keep people together and I got the feeling with the open ended ending, that it may have a 2nd season, or a potential for one. Was it fantastic? Not really, but it was satisfying and perhaps a good filler show to watch while waiting for a more anticipated series to drop all their episodes. I will keep the 4 star review, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I did appreciate the Wes Anderson vibe though. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________
This is very reminiscent of a Wes Anderson movie from the choir singing in many scenes/eps to the backdrops/cinematography, not to mention Lee Dong Wook and his close relationship with his ex's. Wes Anderson movies are quirky, rooted in fantasy more so than reality and this has the same vibe- it's quirky, odd and a little off kilter. The premise is simple, sell divorce insurance and maybe find romance along the way, however the relationships are much more convoluted and we aren't sure where it's all going. I gave it 4 stars. To be fair, I've only watched the first 3 eps. I'm hoping for it to make more sense, but with only 12 eps. I'm not sure that will happen. I love all the actors and they are all doing a good job with what they have, Go and watch Mr. Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel," or "Life Aquatic," and you'll see what I mean about this series, you'll see the comparisons as I did. I appreciated the effort, if that was what they were going for, however it's falling just a little short. I'll keep watching and come back with final thoughts! In the meantime happy watching!
YES!! She was the worst, I was really hoping for NO redemptive arc for her, that The ML and FL would start their own company and say, "Bye Bye, See ya!" But as a Korean, I knew that wouldn't happen. :) sigh.
I think the music here is not talked about enough, I really loved it! Not often that a kdrama OST stays in my…
Right!? When I saw the credits and Crackshot was real I was like, Oh I gotta find their music! I loved the OST, I was listening it today as I was running errands.
Very sweet romcom. Loved the music, and looked into Crackshot, they have some good songs. it was nice to see the FL in another romcom, she's very good in this genre. The music even reminded me a little of True Beauty. I'd watch it again!
Is it illegal to take pictures of people in public in Korea? Also, wouldn't that be considered destruction of…
Yes, it's illegal and if found out is punishable. You have to ask permission to take pictures of anyone whether it's public property or not in South Korea. He did go too far by dropping the phone in the water though. I guess the ends justify the means since he told the lady go ahead and sue him, she knew she would get in more trouble for taking the picture in the first place. I like the name "Ms. Power Trip" too! LOL
I wish he would do something with his bangs as well. He looks so unkept or maybe get a haircut, lol.
Me too! It's one of my favorites, I've watched it a few times now and it never dissapoints! It's such a lovely sweet romance, with a little bit of family intrigue thrown in. It's wonderful!

He plays the secretary to the chairman in Cinderella and the Four Knights. His hair is shorter and to the side in that one. He's got a great arch in that story!
Masterpiece. This drama has one of the best written fl, ml characters and their love story is heart swooning.…
LOL, Got ya! I will reconsider then! haha. After three eps I was seriously wondering if I should invest my time elsewhere, so your thoughts are very helpful! :)
Just watched the subbed episode 80.OMG! I had to rewind Jingu's words to Hana that he did not obey Yeojin but…
Ok WOW... this show doesn't disappoint! I like how other than the Myeongi and Se Young no one else was helping Yeo Jin. Serves her right, they did a good job of making her a sad lonely woman. Wait till she finds out Myeongi and Se Young were the ones who betrayed her all along, you're right they're going to get their comeuppance soon! Please Reverend Mother, some one jog her memory already!
